Re: Most anticipated game of 2010
Back when I was playing I ended up hardcore raiding for 6 hours every night in a server first guild and between that (I'm a hiki and have lots of spare time after all) I ran around on my own grinding gold while listening to music. Sometimes I dressed up in sexy gay outfits and went into enemy territory to duel people and just harass other players.

Re: Most anticipated game of 2010
In my opinion, Starcraft 2 would be the most anticipated game of 2010. Everyone has been waiting for 10 years for Starcraft 2. I've downloaded the Beta, but you need a key to play. 0o

Re: Most anticipated game of 2010
I just read the first articles about ff13, everyone says its definitely no masterpiece, they cut out sooooo much of the original ff tradition, no worldmap, no sidequests, no extras, its just a veery linear roleplaying game. I will see when its out.

Re: Most anticipated game of 2010
That sound's horrible, point A->point B->point C style wouldn't work for a FF game in my book. I could understand cutting out the world map, kinda like going back to a secret of mana style without a Flammie fly around, sort of makes the world more realistic, but the rest just makes it a "not going to buy" for me.

I heard that it has great storytelling and character development though, so I'm still looking forward to it.

Re: Most anticipated game of 2010
Its said that the battlesystem is the best of the entire series, but reducing the gameplay on the battlesystem gets boring very quickly, i never played FF just for its battlesystem, I also heared that most of the NPCs have no dialogs, they just stand around and you cant talk to them, which is a no go for the series. also its mentioned that there is no "humour" character like steiner from ff9 or wakka/xell/cid
at least its what i read in my magazine

I don't play FFs just for the battle system either -- FFVIII is my favorite but I didn't even really like the battle system.

Re: Most anticipated game of 2010
FFVIII had an amazing storyline. The magic system sucked so bad though. 1. Draw Fire from Bomb A 2. You drew 1 Fire spell. 3. Repeat over 99 times until full. (It can fail, and does often) Some reviews I read said there were a few plot holes. I just hope that doesn't screw it up too bad. Final Fantasy's have always been epic, mainly because of the story.

Unless they're obvious I usually don't notice plot holes. But now that you've mentioned it, I'll probably be on the lookout...

Damn it. Touhou 12.5 is just like every other Touhou game; it sucks and I'm not being a troll. I've never liked any Touhou game at all.

I'm not interested anything on that list... super excited about Super Mario Galaxy 2, though. *__*

Now that I have a 360, I can officially say I'm excited for Alan Wake.

Re: Most anticipated game of 2010
Persona 3 Portable I'd say that the fact that it will be my third time buying that game, even with all the new stuff that is added for this PSP version (new storyline with female main character, new Social Links, tons of gameplay improvements), the fact that it remains my most anticipated game of 2010 shows how much I love Persona 3. I really can't wait to see the game with the whole new female perspective. So much is going to change.
That aside, I enjoyed Final Fantasy XIII and am currently enjoying Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. But out of the games listed on that list, I would say I am most excited for Alan Wake. That game is sounding really awesome to me.

Can't wait for Red Dead Redemption at the moment. I loved God of War III, but now I really want to play the first two again.

Re: Most anticipated game of 2010
Looking forward to Xenoblade, The Last Story, MGS: Peace Walker, KH: birth by sleep, but I don't have a Wii nor a psp. Hoping there'll be a worthwhile expansion for Mass effect 2, and that FFXIII versus and The Last Guardian will make it this year, but I doubt it.

Among those choices: None of them.
The only 2010 games I want is Soulsilver, Heartgold, Black and White. All Pokemon. I also want for last year's ultimate game room and 50 classic games.

Re: Most anticipated game of 2010
Civilization 5 would be a major time killer if it's as good as 4. Other than World of Warcraft between 2006-2008, Civ4 is probably the single game I spent most hours playing. Ever.

Re: Most anticipated game of 2010
Aww none of my most anticipated games for this year were listed: Super street fighter IV, Dragon Quest 9 and C.O.D. Black ops. I voted for FFXIII, which turned out to be rubbish imo, Bioshock 2 and Halo reach-I have yet to play the latter.
