What did you watch when you were younger?

Post What did you watch when you were younger?
I understand that few of us watch television on a regular basis anymore (at least, not in its traditional form, instead opting to download content from the internet), but I am willing to bet that a large majority of us watched television when we were younger.

Which television shows do you remember as watching as a kid? Which were your favourites, and why?

I'm still quite young, so many of my favourite television shows were from the 90's, such as The Rugrats, Kenan and Kel, The Queens Nose, Brum, etc.

One of my favourite shows was "The Moomins". Whenever I talk to Americans about it, they seem to have no idea what I'm talking about - maybe it was never aired there. I loved the show because of its idyllic settings and the theme music.

Another show that I remember watching all the time was "The Busy World of Richard Scarry" - I even had a book about it!

In the morning as a kid, I'd often watch:

'Les aventures de Tintin':

'Inspector Gadget':

When I was really young (around three and four years old), my favorite shows were:

'The Legend of Zelda' (animated TV series):

'The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!':

Super Mario Brothers, oh the hours of endless pleasure, that was a great show.

I didn t even know there was a Zelda cartoon though!

Mario and Zelda were shows?? Dang.

My all-time favorites when I was little were Barney and Rugrats.

Hell, I still love the Rugrats.

Nickelodeon used to be so good - and I watched Rugrats all the time, and let's not forget about Doug, Kenan and Kel, etc.

I occasionally check out the kids' channels on TV, and the quality of the programming is now, in my opinion, abysmal.

I was never into Kenan and Kel, and I was never really into Doug because I never really understood what was going on.

Some t.v. shows for kids are good, if you find the right one(I'll admit that I've watched Ni Hao, Kai Lam a number of times).
But the constant singing and dancing and "we're the best of friends!" is just too much for me. @_@

You watched Crapémon? :crazy

I think me and my friends were slightly too old for that video-game and show. We were used to playing more advanced RPGs like the Final Fantasy series, Secret of Mana, Breath of Fire and Lufia so we looked down on such a simplistic game. :p

I was either 5 or 6, when the show came. :b And I was 3 when the game came, so I don't think I really thought much about the quality.

Pokemon was awesome! I had good times watching that show. :) I watched Ed Edd and Eddy a couple times but my mom had something against the show so she wouldn't let me watch it anymore. :(

Well my sister still watches it pretty often, otherwise I would probably not remember anything about it. I don't think my mother would've either :P

Yay! A Samurai Jack fan! That show was awesome, but i can never find someone to agree with me. That show was like hypnotic, it had virtually no dialogue, it was just really pretty animation and well paced action.
