How much art do you have?

I'm honestly not sure, but no where NEAR that much lol. Probably no more than fifty. I have between 5-10 of Vincent van Gogh, A couple by Francis Bacon, a few by Kandinsky, One by David Bailly, & some others.

I don't have much art on my laptop. Just some from Caspar David Friedrich I like. And of course lot of colorized manga pictures...

If you count "things i've seen and laughed at" as art, then about a million. If not, well...

not much, most of it being from friends.

I used to have an obsessive interest in collecting images, but never "art" per se. I had literally 100k or more pictures of pokemon and digimon which I saved on the computer. I would surf websites and just save every single image I found, and rarely saved duplicates even.
Real art on the other I dislike watching on the computer. I am very impressed by your collection though, I can imagine you picked up images from quite a lot of places, but are there any particularly good image sources you use? And why don't you like modern art?

just of music fanart. "5,164 files", all sorted into seperate folders for each artist, or like a "pixiv" folder, then sorted into whatever band it's for.
i guess that's pretty good since it's all for the same couple of bands :o

I would love to go through that art collection of yours in search for things I can use for interior decorating. Personally, I don't have art or even much music on my computer. I delete images I download after a while.

I have 2.08gb of my own art, i don't collect any though hehe.

I've got about 2,000 pieces of art on my computer from various artists. A lot of the artists are anonymous to me, though. But most of them are really good fan art of things I like. I only save the very artistic fan art, though. My favorite type of art is sketchy, detailed, depressed kind of drawings that look kind of messy. I've always like macabre art and stuff like that.

I don't understand why people aren't posting more in the "art you like" thread. I found some nice stuff in it before.

Hmm, I save a lot of beautiful pictures and stuff on my computer, but hardly ever art by some famous person.

About 2-3000 pics. I only save stuff if it is really excellent and I don't care who did it. I do my own as well.

I also collect just photos of things that I like, though I don't know how many of those I have; probably a similar number to above.

Let's see... I have 32273 files and 381 folders ... on this hdd's art collection.
The scary part is this doesn't even include my own stuff with all the data heavy multi layer high res files and version backups etc
The scarier part is that I have several times as many images on another external hdd. SEVERAL TIMES as many. The ones above are just what I collected from december 09 on.
I'm mad... I can't help collecting pics, did it ever since I first started exploring the internet.
But... in my own defense I have to say these include all kinds of things from "normal" artworks to anime art to game art to reference screenshots and fotos and I need them for inspiration ^^; The collection is a huge mess though, It's just roughly sorted by category.

I don't really save any of it, but I kind of wish I had been doing that. It seems like a lot of sites that host high resolution artwork are eventually taken down for copyright violations. I guess they want us all to buy books and lithographs or something.

on my current harddrive there is 2,95 GB (3,064 files in 16 folders ) too lazy to do individual folders which makes shit hard to find, but its still pleasant to look through them.

Last time I checked, it was something like 20GB.
