I love to listen to audiobooks, why we don't share the ones we think that are really cool?

Richard Branson - Screw It, Let's Do It - one of the very dull books that I do listen. Maybe he billionaire, but such a book in this style everyone can write. This guy annoys me. Well it was an audio book. The only thing that lifted the mood.

I really love audiobooks too. I rarely go to sleep without listening to one, these days.
I have lots.

My favorite ones are from librivox.org , where volunteers are reading public domain books. I really love that kind of thing.
Some are doing a really great job too (others are a bit hard to understand especially when they're not native-english, but still, it's free after all). Sometimes they're even better than professional readers, because they sound so much more natural. It's a bit like your mom or granny's reading to you.
They've read& recorded several thousand books in english alone, quite a few german and french ones too plus one or two (or several hundred) in practically every language you can think of. They've even got some in romanian/latin.


Apart from that I'm usually listening to easy-to-follow/funny-stuff, or books I know really well to fall asleep to (mostly Pratchett, Douglas Adams or Tolkien. Sometimes even J.K.Rowling ).
