 What's the longest you've gone without watching television? What's the longest you've gone without watching television?
I technically haven't "watched" TV in over a year or longer. I've glanced at TV screens, but haven't actually sat down to watch anything. The only time I watch anything is on the computer since I have decent speakers hooked up to it; I usually watch films, but once in a blue moon will download a TV show.

I don't watch tv, but recently I started watching television shows on the internet and listening to the news (i turn it on to listen to it while I eat, I don't watch it), but that's it, before that, I don't pay for cable and I don't turn on my tv for television programs, only films and video games.
There was a time period where my brother and his ex would watch tv, it was located in the same place as my computer, but I never look at what they're watching.

Re: What's the longest you've gone without watching television? like dreaming, i like to have the tv on for the noise and the light. i actually spend very little time watching it, unless something interesting catches my eye, like a nature documentary. i think my dogs spend more time actually watching it than i do, they love nature documentaries too.

Even before that, I hardly watched anything as there was barely any good shows without cable. I didn't have the money to buy a wide screen or a converter box. Didn't need or want any of those since I always relied on downloads through the internet to get my favorite episodes.

it was torture for awhile but i got use to it
now i have a brand new shiny tv and surprised by the boatload of new shows that cropped up after my tv was KIA

Oh actually, during holidays abroad I wouldn't have watched tv, but that was back when I was about 10. Nowadays there's ALWAYS a tv on in the backround, so even if I'm not focusing on a programme 100%, I'm still semi-watching it.

(mostly dull shit like talk-shows and layer-shows) if i feel like spending some time with him join him and watch some shows with him. but if it weren't for my father i wouldn't spend any time watching tv, since it became worse and worse over the years. (on rare occasions i watch arte and 3sat)...so ill say few weeks
