Post Last film you watched
This type of thread seems to be popular on forums.

What was the last movie you watched, and what did you think about it?

If you don't feel like writing a lengthy review, the title of the movie and a rating out of 10 will suffice.

The last movie I watched was "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror". I liked it a lot - and it genuinely frightened me!

I watched a bunch of DVDs from the Criterion Collection last week. The last film I watched was Great Expectations. I liked it, but not as much as the other two films I watched.

Other films I watched last week were Sisters and White Dog.

Yeah, good movie. Haven't seen it since it came out.

Have you ever seen 'Dawn of the Dead'?

I liked that movie - I saw it a while ago. I used to live in the area that Charles Dickens was from, so I know the story quite well. I've been to the church which served as the setting for the opening of the story, and have walked past Restoration House, which was the home of Miss Havisham.

The last movie I saw was "I Spit On Your Grave(1978)". It wasn't that good, just a pretty ordinary rape-and-revenge film. I didn't have much compassion for the woman in the story - killing five men was a best excessive of her. The character that I sympathized most with was Matthew - poor, poor Matthew.

There's a few films I've felt like watching again lately, films I consider as being essential. I feel like watching either:

. Fantastic Planet
. Walkabout (since watching this, I've really wanted to read the book this was adapted from)
. Koyaanisqatsi

I love all of these older not so well-known films.

George Romero's or Zack Snyder's? I've only seen the latter.

I'd meant the original by George Romero. It's a great movie. The re-make is good as well though.

A film I recommend by George A. Romero is a good early not-so-well known film called 'Martin'. It's a vampire film. I love it, it's one of my favorites. The main character in the film totally seems like an aspie.

I actually preferred Run Fatboy Run, i found it funnier. Admittedly, Dylan Moran's presence probably contributed to that.

I watched "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" (my family made me watch it with them). If you haven't heard of it, don't bother looking it up - it's terrible, and certainly not one of Adam Sandler's best movies. There are better ways to spend your time than watching this movie.

*gag*

hated it SO much. Adam Sandler should not wear shorts that short.

I watched My Sassy Girl yesterday. If you're into the humor that the asians have, you'd probably find it cute.
Except it made me cry a little.

Yeah, Dead snow is a lot of fun, I've seen it a couple of times. I didn't know it was internationally known, though.

I watched Chocolate about 5 minutes ago. It's a Thai martial arts/gang film. The main character, Zen, is mentally disabled. Played by Yanin Mitananda.

Taxi Driver. What can I possibly say about this movie that hasn't already been said? I loved it! Although I must confess that I didn't find Jodie Foster's character very endearing - maybe that's highlighting some subconscious feelings of hate towards girls and women my own age (stemming from jealousy)? I found Cybill Shepherd's character, Betsy, far more interesting.

Mozart and the whale. Normally I wouldn’t dream of watching a romantic drama/comedy, I only watched it because the two main characters (and most of the characters actually) have Aspergers. I didn’t like it all that much, but it was interesting to see how they portrayed Aspies and the diversity of Aspergers.

What i totally didn t get was i m sure there are quite a lot of young indian actors who would ve loved the starring role in Slumdog Millionaire. So then why did they give the job to Dev Patel, an English actor. If i was an Indian actor, i would be pissed off from being denied the opportunity and having an Indian actor probably would ve provided some more realism. No matter how good an actor is, the real thing will always be more believable.

Fatal contact: Bird flu in America. I think the title says what you need to know about it. I liked it. 9/10.
