Yes, it's off and on. I'm generally always depressed, and have a hard time being happy, but there are a lot of factors and triggers that can set me off into a deeper depression. I've almost grown to like the feeling of depression if that makes any sense. And that really scares me. I'm starting to like wallowing in my own self-pity. Along with that physical tightness I feel in my chest. Haha, I'm messed up.

No. I like depression too sometimes. I actually feel like it's easier to do homework when in this state and that I am nicer to people. Leaves me wishing I could be like this all the time sometimes lol.

It is definitely on and off, and I hate it! I'm more susceptible to depression at certain times, but I'm also greatly affected by the things going on in my life and by how people treat me. I'm really sensitive, and a lot of things, even little things, can make my mood skyrocket or plummet. This is a major reason why I stay away from people so much. I hate how easily strangers or people I don't like can make me feel bad.

Constant mostly with the occasional psychotic breaks.

The sadness is constant, but I go through episodes of deeper despair that have been increasing in number and length ever since I had my first really bad major depressive episode.

I think I've posted in here before, but for me it's on & off. At times, I have no depression at all & at other times I'm suicidal. It all depends on my moods, my medication, & the level of stress in my life at the moment.

I think I posted here before too, but currently it's still on and off, there's a pattern though, there are usually periods where I feel extremely great and delusional, then I'd feel irritated and angry, then I'd get tired and depressed, the cycle then repeats itself, but the depression and anger period lasts the longest.

My depression is on and off. Sometimes it turns "on" completely randomly. It seems as if I have the symptoms of cyclothymia, which is like a more drawn out and weaker form of bipolar disorder.

You're meaning that, for example, you're completely happy walking on the street, or singing in the rain, or joking with your co-workers or friens. And suddenly and with no particular reason you get an extremely strong feeling of sadness and dread, like making you want to cry?

Mine is on and off, it happens mostly when I am alone and bored at night times, or if I stumble on something that reminds me of old times/sad things.

On and off, sometimes just for a day, sometimes for a week, or evens months at a time. Theres no ryme or reason for any particular incidence, it just comes and goes as it sees fit.
