 Re: Hallucinations
I only hallucinate if I get sleep paralysis, and only if I open my eyes. I hate SP, but I get it a lot, especially if I try to fall asleep on my back.

 Re: Hallucinations
SP sucks, I've experienced it twice, a few years ago and about 14 years ago.
About 8 years ago I had rather high fever (about 39) in connection with either a cold or a flu. I was in my bed sleeping when my mother came in to check on me. I dreamt I was on a ship. When my mother pushed at my blanket to close the door IRL, my blanket shifted over my legs, and got entangled. In my dream something grabbed my legs and pulled me down through the deck. Forced awake I saw my mother leave my room but I was still half dreaming and I saw a giant thing going. I got up and went after her. I reached my door just as she went into the bathroom. I hurried after to take the tentacled monster. Reaching the bathroom door I stuck out my hand, pointing it after her like it was a weapon. "You look like you're wild," she said, and at her words I woke up completely and felt confused. I don't have a history of sleep walking so I assume it happened because of the fever.

 Re: Hallucinations
Oh, didn't realize this counted! I've experienced this numerous times, its always disturbing. Its almost like I carry stuff from my dream into reality. I think it has to do something with brain waves, there is this particular one called the Theta wave that I have heard mentioned.

 Re: Hallucinations
Most of my experiences with sleep paralysis have been awful but I remember once I hallucinated something really nice. I was disappointed when I fully awoke, I wanted it to come back.
