same here. the worst thing about it is, that every kind of social situation requries a certain way of behaviour, except maybe buying something at the mall or else.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
I mean that as in standing on two feet, not making weird faces, etc. I always feel like crawling, breaking things, biting people, screaming. Whatever people say, it's better to have freedom, at least to me it's better. Freedom hurts a lot, but it's the one good thing about being alive, isn't it. Or else, you would become completely bored or apathetic, or something like in the "Keine Lust" song. I don't go malls, but if I were in one I would just feel like breaking things. I don't care if it isn't natural, the facts are that I do feel like that, then I must supress the feeling, unless I also want to get in a mental hospital.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
If I haven't seen the person or persons in a long time and I'm about to see them, I get really nervous. I feel they may judge the way I have changed. I know, it sounds silly, but I get really edgy and self conscious about those things. When I do see them though, I act normally. Usually the anticipation is more agonizing than the actual event.
Also being expected to do something makes me uncomfortable and anxious.
I'm pressure sensitive sometimes.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
Ah...l also hate crowds. When it's a festival setting, l don't mind as much. l guess most of you don't either too, eh?
Just to delve deeper into my fear of seeing familiar faces on the street...When l was younger, whenever l saw someone and they recognized me, l'd act like l didn't know them. l'd even run away if they got close. One time when l was playing at the community pool alone, a group of my friends saw me and called my name. l just looked at them and ran the other way. l spotted them again at the change room and they gave me dirty looks. l just stared at them blankly. l never talked to them again so it really didn't matter.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
I'm sure we can all relate, althe.
The walk from my car to class always makes me a little nervous because there are so many people walking to and from that the chances of me running into someone from my highschool is very high. Even today, I walked by someone I knew who went to my highschool, I saw him in the corner of my eye and quickly looked in the other direction. I think it's just that I hate sudden confrontations, I need some type of mental preparation.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
Along with crowds, I also hate when people I know force me to meet people I don't know, and then force me to talk to the person I don't know. There's a part of me that enjoys talking to people I don't know, but sometimes it makes me really nervous.
I also don't like when I'm in school and everyone is yelling and being stupid fucks, but I guess that's not really social.

Phones and dealing with companies giving me the run around. I never know how to handle it or what to say. They transfer me over to someone and that person has no idea what I am talking about and they are saying something completely different than what the other person told me about them.
Sales people and telemarketers.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
NT– Morality bullying and mass murder is fine disobeying the word of god… is evil! O_O– okay, if god says I can't play ball outside I'll do it anyway if I feel like it. People don't give me shit like that doesn't apply to NT atheists their, in them selves how do I put it irrational. Yes that's it their moral arguments sometimes drift into God approves of X, there by we must disaprove of X and if god is against X then we must approve of X. It's interesting how people act like their is a god even if they don't believe in one.

I hate being around the kids at school. Don't get me wrong, I actually enjoy school just because I always learn something interesting, and Algebra is orgasmic. But I hate the kids in my school.

What? I learned nothing in school. I think that if you want to get real knowlege about something you should either bring your own books and read for your own self or go to a university. At least this was my case. School had absolutely nothing to teach me. So I spent my time either reading Nietzsche in school or not going there at all.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
I never learned anything in school either. The teachers had no clue what they were doing. The things I could've learned there, I could've learned on my own. In fact, the subjects that I had difficulty with in school I now find very easy because it's self taught. Unfortunately, knowledge in the working world is considered useless if it was not obtained in an institution.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
Translation of JohnH: Many religious people claim to be moral, but aren't moral according to their own claimed standard; what's more, their own claimed standard is different from what is in their holy texts. Come to think of it, what is in the holy texts is also very immoral according to today's basic standard of human decency. So I understand you can't be moral according to all these contradictory instructions, but I'm still frustrated because these holier-than-you types somehow manage to achieve the maximum immorality (which makes me rather doubt their sincerity) — and to top it off, they also annoy atheists by equating them with satanists, which is so mind-boggingly stupid that it doesn't deserve a rant with proper grammar, because grammar is needed to communicate new information and if anything that frustrates me right now is somehow new to you, you can't be helped.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
I hate the social situations that I tend to put upon myself without thinking. Likeeee: Someone who I occasionally message on AIM asked me if I would help her with math because she's going to be taking the ACT standardized test soon. I've hung out with her once; it was awkward and uncomfortable to me at times. Her parents were weird, too. Not to mention that we don't really have much in common to be friends. But, without even thinking, what did I say? YEAH, SURE I DON'T MIND! Why did I say this? Why can't I just say 'no' to people? I'm not even getting paid for this. I was reluctant to sign on AIM this morning because I feared her being online. I always put myself in such dumb situations.

How old are you? I remember you were so little..." I feel like an idiot when I'm only smiling embarrassingly and can't say some intelligent words. What about you? What social situations would you like to avoid most? =/ | | | | |
those family situations, and unknown places with lots of people... Yeah, when people unexpectedly touch me funny, like I had an aunt, who pinched my butt. and I really didn't like that... I think my leg twitched and she asked, "why'd your leg twitch" and I said "because you touched me" and she said in a stern tone "be nice...", wha? i gave her an honest answer and she thinks I'm being a smart-ass or something... I think family gatherings can be stressful for most of us, bit Idk... maybe everyone doesn't like family events...

I hate talking with my friends most of the time. They talk about the dumbest things and it makes me so angry for no reason. Small talk too with other people like parents and strangers.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
I share most of these mentioned. Family parties have become especially bad for me the past year or so.
One particular social situation I hate is when I used to go hang out with a friend and they would then have me go meet other friends of theirs who I didn't know. If it was just one place with a few people there, it wouldn't be so bad, but it often ended up being traveling to 4-6 different places and dropping in on groups of 4-10 ppl I didn't know.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
Lately, I just hate coming out of my room in general. I hate when my dad calls me downstairs for whateverthefuck, I hate when I have to go to school, I hate when I have to go to my mom's. I want to be here in my room with another person and just chill here. I fucking hate people, god damn.

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
Any time I'm confronted with more than one or two people, I start breaking down.
The worst situations are large herds/crowds (especially when people look at you or walk close behind you), airplanes, check-out lines at the supermarket (stop scrutinizing my purchases, dammit!), religious gatherings, parties (I went to once once in college), award ceremonies (stop giving me your fakey praise), elevators, escalators and staircases (I really, really hate people walking behind me), eating in public (digesting food in front of others seems pretty rude)....
I can't really think of other social situations that I've actually been in.

I feel that way too, and I also hate it when people eat food in front of me. To me, it's like going to the toilet when someone's watching...or having to watch someone else!

Re: Which social situations do you dislike?
Isn't it amazing how arbitrary societal rules are? Really, eating in public almost seems more invasive than using the restroom, since food is going in. Plus you can see the inside of people's mouths and stuff, so it's like peeking into their body. X_x Though, ancient Romans had no problem going to the bathroom in public. Or sharing the same sponge- stick to clean themselves off with afterward. Ew.

The Romans also used pee to wash clothes. I like looking at their ruins, but I'm glad I didn't have to smell an actual Roman.
