Your post reminded me of an episode of the Twilight Zone.
Not the original black & white, but the color version in the 80s.

A lady discovered she had the ability to stop time on command.
She used it throughout the episode to make her daily routine easier
and more pleasant. Once to stop the kids from bickering for a few
minutes of peace. Another at a grocery outlet so she wouldn't have
to wait on line, and so forth.

During the final scene, nuclear war had been declared with Russia
(this was the 80's after all), and ICBM's had been deployed
from both sides ensuring certain mutual destruction. She used her
power to freeze time for what would be her last, to prevent the missiles
from touching down.

The episode closed with her walking around the streets seeing her neighbors
frozen in panic. I remember being freaked out by this episode as a child.

Similar to the black and white one where they guy just wanted to read all the time and not be around anyone.
And the world was destroyed by nuclear war and he was totally alone.
Until his glasses broke and he fell into despair.

Or the one with the guy who got annoyed with everyone.
And he wished they would all be gone.
It happened.
Eventually he started missing company, made a few more wishes and wished things back to the original state.

I can get into a truck and rob lots of H&M stores...
I can get naked, dance through the town, shoot street signs...
But I would panic and then kill myself one day...
It sucks being alone... D:
And if master isn't around, I would die!

What would you do if you were in such a situation? How would you feel?

I would travel the world as a nomad, walking from town to town each day. I'd still be a hermit but the entire planet would be my hiding place. I would get lonely and search for people. If I ever found anyone I'd probably get nervous and turn around to go in the opposite direction.

I think i'd kill myself after a short while. Move to the North Carolina, read a few books and then bam no but seriously the world would be no good without other people. & I'm already so paranoid and freaked out as is that if there was no one I would just drive myself crazy looking over my shoulder 24/7.
Now if it was two people i could.

Post Re: The Last Man On Earth
This question actually is tied into part of the mental issues that keep me locked up in my home. I worry about the end of the world, and being one of the last people alive all the time. Almost constantly. I have an innate feeling of dread about it. When I manage to actually go places, I am always assessing things from a survival perspective. What building would be safe to hole up in, where to go for supplies, etc. The idea of being the last person alive on earth, or even just being alone for hundreds of miles, scares the hell out of me. So if such a thing were to occur, I'd probably end up killing myself, for sheer inability to handle the situation.
