As for the topic in question, I think it should work both ways, females should stop condescending over me because of my "fashion taste" or whatever that may be. I don't ask girls to cosplay for me and they shouldn't ask me to wear something they deem fashionable. No one should impose their views on the other.

Re: Told what to wear... I see nothing wrong with wearing what the other would like me to. Of course like some say its not like he'd be telling me literally what to wear all the time. Besides, it is also a give and take, we'd also want to tell them what to wear at special times... especially when they look really bad or just inappropriate for the occasion.
