 Housing Idea I'm being put in this position where I might be buying a house soon, but not just any house one with a lot of bedrooms and space.
A bigger question since I am no longer really married and have the time and resources to do things should i invite friends to live with me or just remain alone in that house.
Family wise one is getting married while the other has college in mind, so that counts them out...
I kinda want to form a house were members of the house are into anime and who also have close interests like me..I doubt I would even really have rent since I would own the house. I mean if i did make people pay rent it would be under 100 if that and it would go to anime/food/etc... I mean to be honest it sounds to good to be true...
any thoughts on this..

You should at least charge rent for utilities and maintainence.

Re: Housing Idea As long as I could get along with them, I'd like having housemates. I'd sure as hell charge them rent, though.
The biggest thing I'd be worried about, and I'm fully aware how pathetic this is, is bandwidth. I'd hate having to live with (another) bandwidth hog.

Re: Housing Idea I lived with friends in one house and that's my observations:
people steal food from fridge and when you ask them who did it - nobody did, but food still dissapears.
people steal showergels, shampoos, and toothpaste. of course - nobody does it. everyone are angels.
they left dirty plates and always - YOU have to wash it.
they always gets angry when comes big bill, and says things like:
"I'll don;t pay so much for water, I don't wash myself as frequently like other guys."
"Pay gas bill? No-way! tell your friends who came to you to give money. they always drink tea!"
Community becames to be communis, totalitarism, finding enemies. people starting to mate - couples are arguing or being sweet like kilogram of aspartam, and it's annoying for singles.
