Re: Mayonnaise... I am going to buy a bottle of Kewpie mayonnaise tomorrow and proceed to eat it on absolutely everything. To see if I can get past my repulsion. And also see how much weight I can gain from a single bottle of pure fat and MSG...
I also forgot to mention that I prefer Miracle Whip over real mayonnaise, though...

EDIT: Miracle Whip does not belong on potato salad. Potato salad should not be sweet. It should be mayoey and pickle-flavored.

Japanese mayo is very vinegary. I mixed it with Sriracha and ate it with meatloaf. It's good but I'm still...adjusting.

Re: Mayonnaise... vinegary... I was looking for perfect word. I bought today mayonaise, but in shop in my neighborhood is only one brand of mayo :/ I prefer more sweet, creamy mayo. too sour. pickles, potatoes, marinated herring and mayo salad is good ^^

...It's not as gagworthy as it sounds. The mayonnaise basically blends in with the rest of the flavor once it gets warm. Still, even though it wasn't bad, it's not terribly appetizing.
