Nice try, shwag, but we both know which fallout in the series we're talking about
and also, i'm not talking about earlier elder scrolls games, I'm talking about Skyrim, that is what this thread is for.

I think the game is amazing but on the ps3 its terrible (I play on pc), the graphics are horribly downscaled compared to pc even when on an hd tv and ps3 just can't handle it very well at more demanding areas and just gets laggy as hell after around an hour. 360 doesn't have the lag issues from what I've heard but still doesn't do the graphics any justice. That isn't to say the graphics is all I care about but its a shame to get less than half of what your seeing on the pc on consoles because of performance limits.

I feel like Skyrim doesn't offer much besides the main story and guild stories. The infinite quests are really shallow.

That being said, it's one of those games I like to watch people play. Sometimes.

Beat it a week or two ago, I clocked quite a lot of hours into the game, I think there are a lot of lost potentials that could've made the game really great, regardless, I think they did the open world aspect really well, you always have things to do, and the world is quite populated, the quest/mission structure is sort of like an offline mmo but with a pretty basic combat/skill progression, there's always something to do and a dungeon to explore, the combat didn't really bother me, but I know it affect the enjoyment for some, and the quest/mission is pretty much do-or-don't kind of deal, it doesn't really offer much choices and decisions don't really affect the world all that much, but I did majority of them just so it gives me a reason to explore, all in all, I enjoyed it mostly.

some things I would have liked to have seen would have been maybe a hand to hand combat skill tree and maybe like a horse back archery perk or a horse back combat skill tree.

Yea I ended up not riding the horse much, the companion aspect is underdeveloped as well, their AIs were really bad.

Couldn't you use archery on the horse in Oblivion? I always kill my horses by jumping off small rocks that seem low enough for a horse to survive.

if you walk slow, you can have your horse almost 90 degrees without falling

Okay. We need someone to sing this.

Quote:
Dovakiin is in the house tonight
I just won the most epic fight
And Alduin is gone, alright
Everybody just have a good time

Dovakiin is in the house tonight
I just won the most epic fight
And Alduin is gone, alright
Everybody just have a good time

You just wanna see me
SHOUT THAT

In the guild, the mages rock, teachin me skills on how to block
Nonstop when we in the spot, Delvin in the dark arts to wreck this rock
Where the dragons? I got to know, shouting out thu'um cause I take their souls
Half man half dovah, dragon born, savin the world, off I go

Yo, I'm running through this dovah like paper
I got that devilish bow, watch me go chant to blow
I'm Dovahkiin, yeah that's the role that I'm reppin
On my rise to the top while I'm smithin my weapon

Dovakiin is in the house tonight
I just won the most epic fight
And Alduin is gone, alright
Everybody just have a good time

Dovakiin is in the house tonight
I just won the most epic fight
And Alduin is gone, alright
Everybody just have a good time

Step up fast and be the first one to make me use my cast
We gettin stronger, don't be mad!
Now Stop-
Alduin's bad

One more shout for us (another thu'um)
Please don't glitch or bug (don't mess around)
We just wanna see (your soul absorb)
Now I'm using mods...
You're naked now!

Dovakiin is in the house tonight
I just won the most epic fight
And Alduin is gone, alright
Everybody just have a good, good, good time
