Re: What Anime are you currently watching? time for Winter 2012 season... - Nisemonogatari : the 2nd season for Bakemonogatari is here!  freaking awesome... insane visual effects and such original style of animation. The plot is really weird but everything look so amazing.. it's entertaining (it has a bit to much fanservice  but nowdays what series doesn't?) it looks so cool I had to made a gif  also: - Ano Natsu de Matteru - Moretsu (awkwardly translated to Bodacious Space Pirates) - Danshi Kokosei no Nichijo - Another

Too many to list, but the new ones I'm watching are Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Ano Natsu de Matteru, Another, Brave 10, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou , Kill Me Baby, and Natsume Yuujinchou Shi. Another is probably the best anime this season. The animation is amazing and it's as gruesome as Higurashi.

Re: What Anime are you currently watching? Another, Chihayafuru, Guilty Crown, Daily Lives of High School Boys, Inu x Boku SS, Oofuri, Hunter x Hunter (2011), Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, Oreimo, Otome Yokai Zakuro, and Mirai Nikki.
I agree with what's already been said about Another. It's really a great horror anime, and it has more of a psychological feel to it than the other more recent ones have had.
