For currently airing/being subbed anime:
Zan Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei
Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Bakemonogatari
Nyan Koi
Trapeze
Aoi Bungaku

I've been trying to watch a bunch of classics that I hadn't gotten around to yet, too. For example, I just started on Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

There's recently been a new anime on SyFy called Monster. I've watched the japanese version with english subs about 4 years ago and I absolutely loved it. What with all the mystery, psychology, and horror involved in it. Now that it's been dubbed for english speakers, I've been watching it since I've heard about it's nightly schedule that's started since October 12th. I'll be buying the first DVD box next month.

Post Re: What are you watching?
Lastnight, we tried to watch Dr. Who, the "Blink" episode. We're new to the series, and I had read that was one of the best. Well, it certainly was a good bit of writing! Except maybe 2/3 through, the file was corrupted and crashed the PVR. We couldn't get it to play beyond that point at all. That was the first time that sort of thing has happened, and it was from the BBC HD channel.

We don't watch too many different shows, only things we record of cable or buy on DVD. Normally, only 1 show an evening, and maybe some cartoons. We follow Battlestar Galactica, Star Gate, Star Trek (NG), Defying Gravity, West Wing, and we're almost done with Six Feet Under. For cartoons, we especially like Dexter's Lab, but, of course, Warner Brothers old stuff, and some MGM. Occasionally Courage, the Cowardly Dog (because that one is totally twisted). Except for Defying Gravity, which is showing currently on BBC, we have them all on DVD.

We're not big fans of TV, except that it is great for getting ready to sleep. Except on special occasions, like a suspenseful 2-parter, we almost never turn TV on in the day. I have a Big Hangup, in that I can't stand the sound from TV, except when I'm watching. And day time viewing turns me into a vegetable (and by sound, I mean the audio channel, not the high-pitch whine that I can easily ignore).

The amazing thing is how my partner and I tend to decide we're in the mood for the same show.

I've just started watching Bleach, I've seen the first 6 episode, and I quite like it so far. It has got some very interesting characters... It's been a while since I last watched an anime, so I hope Bleach continues to be likeable :yes, I guess there must be a reason for Bleach's popularity, so it probably will ^^

Me too, Im on episode 7 now and I think its not that bad, I like the soundtrack.
Im not very much into mainstream anime series (naruto/bleach/one piece) but ill give it a try since a friend just cant stop talking about Bleach.

I'm not into much anime or anything, but I been watching new Yo Gabba Gabba every morning this week. if Nick starts showing it again regularly, I'd watch it every day.

Currently I am looking forward to Breaking Bad every Sunday. Besides that I need to get my hands on some seasons of The Wire. Hopefully Eastbound and Down gets a second season as well.

just started hajime no ippo. not a fan of boxing and it's incredibly formulaic but for some reason it's very fun to watch. i also started watching densha otoko but after the first 2 episodes (which were awesome) none of the following episodes have grabbed me so it's just been sitting there. \:

Two of my most FAVOURiTE cartoons :D Sad to learn they don't air it on TV anymore...

i'm watching: The big bang Theory (for all the geeks out there, it's a hilarious sitcom with references to physics and comics- and star trek of course).

i find South Park to be a very satirical and hilarious show with meaningful underlying themes and allusions to current and classic issues. it's changed from it's old fart jokes and crappy animation. Still vulgar and insensitive. Still funny as heck :lol

Im watching LOST, the series finale is so close and there are still so many open questions, it seems like there are even more questions in every episode than answers.
