 Re: What is your favorite anime? I love everything by Satoshi Kon, Paprika being my favourite.  I also like Kara no Kyoukai a lot, and I think Gosick has made it to my favourites... The Girl Who Leapt Through Time... Suzumiya Haruhi... Can't think of any others at the moment...

Re: What is your favorite anime? Fuck yeah, LoGH is one of my all time favorites too! It's so...epic. Mobile Suit Gundam 0079...Zeta Gundam...G Gundam...I fucking love mech/space. Older the better. I also am deeply enamored of 07 Ghost, Kyou Kara Maoh!, Junjou... Basically, a Gundam full of flamboyantly gay protagonists would be my dream series. ...wait...wasn't that Gundam 00?  As the Gundam franchise just seems to get more and more fabulous, I can't wait to see what the next full-length anime will bring.

Re: What is your favorite anime? I've watched a good few, but don't remember which ones (because of my sucky memory).
But I remember saying my favourite was Gungrave (although it's better if you don't watch the first episode). It's just the one that stood out to me most. And I like the main character a lot - Brandon Heat (he doesn't really talk).
And to whoever said Heidi. I remember watching that as a little boy. It made me so emotional. I don't know why.

Re: What is your favorite anime? I started watching that. It's interesting and the animation's really unique. The main character is such a motor-mouth though. It's hard to tell what's going on sometimes.

Re: What is your favorite anime? man, my favourite anime, considering i've seen over 400 series i dont really know where to start.... lets see Fullmetal Alchemist, Beck, Serial Experiments Lain, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Gintama, Dragon Ball Z Special: Bardock, Baccano!, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Death Note, School Rumble, Grave of the Fireflies, Ranma 1/2, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Iketeru Futari, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Lucky Star, Planetes, Hidamari Sketch, Durarara!!, and Elfen Lied. these all have a special place in my heart, but i'm sure there's more! i feel the same way

Re: What is your favorite anime? the thing about that was they made fma, the anime, while the manga was still running. the new anime full metal alchemist: brotherhood follows the more to the original plot. i've seen both the anime and also read the manga and i thought it's a awesome series, but i personally liked the first one better. generally i like bitter-sweet endings over happily ever after, but that's just me.

Re: What is your favorite anime? The first Fullmetal series was one of the first animes I watched but Brotherhood/Manga is much better. It makes the plot of the other one just seem so cobbled together.

Re: What is your favorite anime? I agree, although I'm not adverse to a happy ending (for some anime/manga I wish for it) But there's certainly something about bittersweet endings that make the story memorable/more real.

Sailor Moon (I have the entire collection & the movies)
Read or Die (the OVA)
Roujin-Z (I have it on VHS)
Project A-ko (another I have on VHS)
Blood Reign: Curse of the yoma (another VHS tape)
Otherwise, nothing that really has captured my intrigue in many years. I still keep on the lookout.
