If I'm gone for a month, it's no big deal.
If six months pass by, something is up.
If I'm gone for a year, assume that I am dead.

Dark Souls. This game is perfection. Survival horror, dungeon crawling, Castlevania-type exploration and vibe. The Sen's Fortress level confirmed this as the GOTY for me.

100%

I've been hooked on Dark Souls over the new year. The online features are awesome - the way everyone's single player game worlds are linked up and you can summon each other to help fight bosses. Lots of other small things too, like how you ring the bell when you beat the Undead Parish and other gamers can hear it in their own world if they are in the vicinity. It reminds me a lot of Zelda, but like a more twisted version of it.

No idea, where else to put it, but do you know the Diablo 2 mod Median XL? This is just about the only game/mod I enjoy solely for the hack and slay part.

There's not much left in common with the original game. The game pace is ultra-fast, and everything blasts, glitters, vibrates. Yay.

Game info and patches are available here: http://modsbylaz.hugelaser.com/

ugh :idiot I love Diablo 2, but that's the exact reason why I can't stand the mods.

Since I got the max level on League of Legends.. not gonna play that game much anymore, well not mainlining.
Few real life friends been bugging me to get back into Runescape.

So guess I'm gonna be doing that. Have a few thousand hours into that game, it's mostly my life, haven't played in 10 months but went out last night and bought my membership back.

Massy 3. I like the whole war assests/theatre of war approach to the plot and subplots, which connects me to all the races, worlds, characters, etc. While the "actual" gameplay of combat is very much the same, it feels lessened this time around by fewer squad mates to fight alongside. All the characters I loved from number 2 that you team up with have just cameos or they die off in this one. I know this is the last game in the Shepard story and a war is at hand but it feels like its a mass genocide of the world they created going on in this one, reminding me of tv series where they would have eeto kill off characters just because the actors that played them left the show. Idk, it's just bad writing to me. But that's not to say the whole piece is flawed because it isn't. There's choices I mad in the story that I FINALLY have come to regret... I'm just enjoying the game a lot.

Even if you can avoid them, you'll realize in the end it would have just been better to let them die the first time.

It's nowhere near as good as two or one, but there are enough characters I like a lot to make it worthwhile.

Wish I could play as Thomas for the last three chapters, though. Definitely not enough Thomas.

Well I finally got to try my hand at ME3 thanks to my sister and her uber PC. And holy crap, the amount of people dying only 10h into gameplay is depressing.

Also, did anyone else have trouble importing their character? I had to remake my Shep's face because apparently the code was screwed up or something. Bioware, I am disappoint.
