I still haven't tried Borderlands, but some guy in GameStop said almost the exact same thing about it (being like Diablo 2/Fallout), except he apparently thought that was a bad thing. Personally, I love Diablo 2, and I think he was missing the point.

We got a bunch of new games yesterday! I started playing Dragon Age Origins and holy bahjeezus. It is pretty badass.





Civ is pretty much the same as ever, except there's a little more animation between your advisers and such. Great game. And I did end up starting over in Oblivion, but I have too many new games to play now lol.

My sister bought Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars, so I’ve been spending quite some time playing that. It is a pretty nice game, but I don’t think games like Grand Theft Auto is really suited for things like the Nintendo DS.

I'm playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii and I really love it... as you might be able to guess from my username and icon, I'm somewhat of a fan of the Mario games, but I never really liked the 3D ones nearly as much as the sidescrollers (and it's just not the same on a handheld)... so this is pretty much the game I've been waiting for since Super Mario World. Playing it is like that Penny Arcade comic about Mega Man 9... the last 18 years might as well not have happened.

I've been mostly playing World of Warcraft for a long time. *grins* I am awful at keeping up with releases of new games, and I don't think my computer can handle all of them equally well. Apart from World of Warcraft I most recently played Crysis, which was quite underwhelming.

Still glued to Dragon Age: Origins.

Only Aion and Borderlands lately.

I just started playing this. It's pretty good so far. I love epic Bioware games. This is my dwarf:


I wanted to make his portrait look ridiculous and I feel I accomplished that. His stare follows you around the room.

Dragon Age: Origins looks so amazing but I haven t got it because I m pretty sure I d prefer it on PC and my PC is pretty old so I doubt it could handle it.

Assassin's Creed II, it's kind of addictive in a way, but it's really boring at some point.

I ve been thinking about getting this since I loved the first game so much.

Lawrens, so basically just like the first part? It was fun and addictive, but became VERY repetitive. I mean, you could always look for those flags, but it gets boring after a while.

hrrm I never played the first, but I'd think so, people say there's a huge amount of improvements though.

I think there're probably more mission types in 2, and the pacing and missions are probably much better but also easier, it's not a frustrating game in any ways regarding the repetitiveness, so I guess that contributes to the addictive aspect. Some of the missions/side missions are so easy that it felt like most of the time are going from point A to point B, press a button to kill a dude. There are some chasing mission types also.
Yea the game for me is a bit more about collecting things, and you'd want to keep triggering the missions to see what happens next, but the side missions and collectible get boring after you've climbed and opened hundreds of chests or collected a bunch of feathers looking for glyphs on the wall or something, there're some puzzles to be solved and some platformings to make it less repetitive, overall I think they give you enough freedom to make the pacing good (as you could just ignore the side missions), but still put in enough side missions for people to mess around.

Finished DragonAge:Origins last night.....and then turned around and started a new game

I started playing perfect world again.

I'm waiting for the new race to come to this month.

Most of what I'm playing now is portable. The rest, I need to finish up on my 360 games.

Played a little TF2. Contributed to the war: Killed 49 Demomen with the Solider.

Currently, I'm addicted to Sudoku, which I mostly play on my iphone. I like playing for speed, and the fact that games are short.

I haven't enjoyed a real computer game since Decent 3, which I got for free with a sound card. Loved it! I'd like to get the first 2 at some point. Oh, and also, Airblade, on PS2. I like games where up and down matter as much as the other directions. It does something interesting to my head. If you know something that I'd like, please, let me know! I'm not big on gaming though.

In the past, I loved the Mario games on Nintendo, and Zelda. But I've not bothered getting any of the classics to play on the Wii. Not that happy with Mario Galaxy, either, and resent having bought it. Nothing ever captivated my partner and I as well as Airblade, on PS2. Now, if we play at all, we're playing the shorter fun stuff on Wii. Don't remember when we last turned on the PS2.

You played Decent? Oh man, that's like one of my all-time favorite PC games. You gotta go back and play 2 and 1. Good idea to do so. Things evolve so differently.

Steam is on christmas sale right now, most games are 20%-80% discount right now, very cool stuff.

Mostly playing Dragon Quest 5 at the moment.

Played and beat Borderlands, been playing Sam and Max with my boyfriend. Playing Dragon Age when he sleeps.

And thanks to them, I purchased Mirror's Edge and Bioshock for only 5$ each. Not too shabby. Been busy playing up on these lately.

Right now I'm playing Kingdom Hearts and Zelda the Twilight Princess right now. Then Kingdom Hearts 2. My parents make fun of me when i play Kingdom Hearts since it looks like a childish game.
