Post Bad movies
Seen any floppers lately? Movies that did not live up to the hype or your own expectations? List it here, so that others can be informed ahead of seeing it. I've seen a few bad ones myself here lately, all of them from Netflix.

The Grudge 3. I didn't expect much of this movie going into it. I had seen the previous two, but neither impressed me as much as the first one did. I have this rule that states that most movies cannot go past a second sequel without getting stupid or deviating from the plot. The Grudge was no different. It was very predictable and poorly made. I guess there was some sort of budget cut going into it, I don't know. But the way everything looked was much cornier than in the previous two films. The ending was terrible, an suggested that they want to make another. I won't bother with the Grudge 4.

The Last House on the Left(remake version). This movie was just boring, plain and simple. It was hyped up to be the prequel to all horror movie or something, but it just sucked. Admittedly, I did not watch it all the way through, but what I did watch was enough for me to determine the suck factor of this movie. Just a common slasher film, done poorly.

Pineapple Express. I got this movie by accident. I am not sure how it ended up in my Netflix queue, but I had heard about it, so decided to watch it. This is yet another stoner movie, but the poorest example of one I have ever seen. They try to mix things up by having the main characters involved(falsely) in a drug ring, but this did not help the movie. There were parts that were funny, but the movie itself was stupid and unreal. The unrealism came from how many times people got shot and still lived. All in all, the one star rating on this movie is well deserved. I couldn't have been more unimpressed. If your in the mood for this sort of movie, I would suggest you look elsewhere.

Which version of Last House on the Left did you see, the original or the remake?

Tango & Cash (1989) Starring: Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell and Teri Hatcher

It's so bad it's almost good. The one liners made me cringe.

Since everyone else is pointing out bombs from way back, I will, too. For me, the number 1 flop of all time is Quest for Fire. They hyped it to death, compared it to 2001. I waited the whole film, wondering when the spaceships would land or take off or what. Nothing but stupid cave men and that bunch of painted people.

Short Circuit.

[s]God, I hate saying that the movie is bad, but when I was a kid I used to watch it over and over.[/s]

Disregard that, Short Circuit rocks.

Death Bed: The Bed That Eats.

This movie sucks. Really.

WTH, Pineapple Express was a great comedy!!!

Some bad movies I've seen recently; the remake of Journey To The Centre Of The Earth 3D, Max Payne, Girlfight. I would advise you all to avoid these movies if at all possible.

I agree about the dragonball movie.
I still can't get over how shit it was, I mean when they have things like the Neo vs Agent Smith in The Matrix Revolutions, which is basically dbz style of fighting, how can they not just add a few hair effects in with that? In fact, if they just got some video editor and had him edit some gold hair and auras into that fight scene, it would be over 9000 times more dragonball z that the dragonball movie.

Oh well... this Dragon Ball movie was the worst ever.

Hollywood want to adapt/remake "Death Note", too. According to imdb, it's in developement.
I really can't stand this thought... ugh.

Remaking horror flicks, fine. :closedeyes But manga adaptions? Hands off! :confused

God, that movie made me cry when I was a kid. I recommend it to everyone, even if that's the pink-tinge glasses of nostalgia talking.
