Anything that has Seth Rogen in it and not just him acting in film. Even if he is a writer or a producer applies. I'm embarrassed for anyone who liked Superbad. Last year was possibly the worst year for films ever. The Hangover made me realize that most people like shit. I'll second Cloverfield as well. I feel the same way about Jack Black that I do with Seth Rogen so I stay away from anything he stars in.

There has already been a Japanese live-action for Death Note, 2 in fact i think. I've only seen the first one though, it was actually a pretty good film, I quite enjoyed it. I haven't seen the series but i got the jist of the first series from the movie pretty much.

The first movie that came to mind is definitely the WORST movie I have ever seen. It's called The World's Greatest Dad. This title takes sarcasm to a whole other level. Gawwwd this movie sucked. I mean, it was made well, but gawwwwd the content/story/plot/ect. was just so...it made me angry :mad
To make things even more interesting, the protagonist is played by Robin Williams.

Check out the movie cover. If you see this while browsing blockbuster it can convince that this movie is a comedy that most people can enjoy...yea...right. When the quotes say this is a black comedy, it is the epitome of a black comedy. It's so black that it doesn't even make you laugh, rather, it just makes your eyebrows scrunch up.

Well, if your cup of tea is a morbid black comedy with an overlay of gray where nothing good ever actually happens, then you may like this film.

District 9. If it hadn't been so noisy, I would've fallen asleep.

Christ, I remember going to see this with my dad. It must have been absolute agony for him. This was a really terrible film and the only way I could watch it again was if I was really, really, really high. Possibly on crack.

I always liked Mystery Science Theater 3000 for showing bad movies. They had some truely shit and practically unwatchable films on that show.
Lets see:
    Hobgoblins
    Space Mutiny
The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living And Became Mixed-Up Zombies
    Escape 2000
    Manos: The Hands Of Fate
    Pumaman
    Santa Claus Conquers The Martians
    any Coleman Francis film
The list could go on and on... :crazy

American Ninja 4.

Very disappointing, since the first three were classics.

The Room. I haven't actually seen this but it's often talked about as the worst film ever made - "The Citizen Kane of bad movies" as one reviewer put it.
I thought The Dark Knight was rubbish. Heath Ledger was great as the joker but otherwise it was just boring.

The Notebook was really bad. The only exciting part in it was the sex scene and even that was boring as fuck.

Titanic - I was rooting for the iceberg half an hour in.

But nothing beats The Lake House in terms of shitness. Hands down the most retarded movie I have ever seen.

I would include 'The Wicker Man' remake with Nicholas Cage in my list if it wasn't for the fact that I actually enjoyed it. It's so bad, it's good. I pissed myself laughing the whole way through.

i've hated everything that shyamalan has ever done. signs, lady in the water, it's all pure shit.
if it has julia roberts or jennifer anniston in it i refuse to watch it. charmless, witless plain janes don't do it for me.
to my lament my husband and friends all work in the culinary industry so that means that any film that comes out about restaurants is a must see. the last was a movie called the slammin salmon.. it was directionless. no plot, the acting, cast, music, setting were all obviously done by someone who has a major drug problem. i gave up but they saw it through only to complain about the time that they had wasted. i hated the movie waiting which they sadly liked.

Eww after seeing the trailer, I decided not to watch the Dragon Ball movie, I wouldn't stand it. Also everything ending up with a word "Movie" and made by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer must be horrendous. Harry Potter movies, Mortuary, Hellraiser: Deader, Evil Dead 1&2, BloodRayne, Evan Almighty, Twilight... they all sucked and these are just 1% of those movies I've gone through and suffered.

Everyone I talked to said they liked it, but Hostile sucked.

What ultimately ruined it for me was the scene where the guy was taking the propane torch to that asian girl's face. Her face all burned and blistered and her eyeball is hanging out of the socket by the nerve.

Gross looking? Yes.

Accurate? No!

A real eyeball would boil then explode.

DUH.

I was with you until you said Evil Dead. Which I think are some of the best movies ever.

Oh you mean Hostel Tricky? I didn't think I'd seen it under you started describing it. I didn't mind it that much, it's always fun watching my father squirm. I wouldn't watch it again though, not any reason to really. Breasts, torture, the end.

Post Re: Bad movies
Hm, well I rarely watch movies. I really love the Whispering Corridors series, until 4. I was really anticipating WC5 because the films had been
getting better and better as the series went on. I actually like cheesy, horrible movies (those crappy 1950s horror movies with forced perspective
being used liberally as special effects, that kind of thing) so I have a high tolerance for movie pain. But gawd, the movie was just awful. They even
went with a lame exploding head scene. The other movies were noteworthy because of their subtlety in dealing with issues like death and even
homosexuality, but the last one was just about some slutty chick who gets herself knocked up and then betrays her friend. That isn't subtle at all!
It's a movie for adolescents, and even then it would blow.

Ugh, now I'm pissed off just thinking about that piece of shit. I'm sure the series is ruined forever now.

@ Lord Tricky -- It pleases me to no end to know that you are an expert in the effects of blowtorches on eyeballs.
