 how long have you suffered from depression ? how long have you suffered from depression ?
i have suffered for over ten years now. only recently my doctor has said that i probably need to see a shrink im in two minds about this because i have heard alot of horror stories about people being abused by health care professionals and i really dont need some shrink talking down to me

Re: how long have you suffered from depression ? Since childhood. But it didn't start getting really bad until I was in my mid to late teens. Then, around 22 to 23 or so it started getting so bad that I started getting suicidal.

Re: how long have you suffered from depression ? I don't know. I'm trying to think of a time when I wasn't miserable and I don't think I can remember that far back. I guess I wasn't sitting in the womb thinking "This fucking sucks", but as much as I can remember I've never been a happy person. It all went downhill after being born.

Re: how long have you suffered from depression ? i have ended up in a few fights with people because they think they have the right to judge people with mental illness all they seem to know is what people have told them,what they have seen,or what they have read yet they think they know it all.i have actually been called a liar because people seem to think im making this up or things cant be that bad for me which really goes to show what they know
