Volunteer opportunities with minimal human interaction?
Does anyone know of volunteer opportunities with minimal to zero human interaction? Zero would be preferable, but I know that's not possible. The only places I can think of are libraries, hospitals, and nursing homes, all of which have too much interaction for me. I highly doubt I'll be able to volunteer anywhere, especially since I can barely leave home , but it would still be nice to know of some more places for the future. Thanks

I don't know of any opportunities like this in society, because society involves people unfortunately. If you are able to leave home, you could walk around and pickup litter off the ground in your area I guess.

An animal shelter maybe? I've looked up the volunteer jobs in my own town and the only job where you didn't have to work a lot with other people was taking care of animals at the animal shelter.

Maybe something with the local forestry service. If you don't mind being out in the wilderness.

If you don't mind hard, non-stop work, you could come volunteer at the kitchen I work in. xD It is in a hospital environment, but the volunteers have it pretty peaceful really.

I was thinking about volunteering somewhere over the summer, but I'm not sure because of the interaction bit.

most volunteer work has a lot of interaction and i find to be stressful as well as a huge downer. i haven't tried any work with a park district which would probably be your best bet for the least amount of human interaction.

I say animal shelter, most of the time you just spend time cleaning up after the animals.
