 Gamer urban legends
http://www.cracked.com/article_19172_8-creepy-video-game-urban-legends-that-happen-to-be-true.htmlI knew about the excel one a way long time ago, wanted to try it but sadly i found i had windows 98 I'm quite surprised by earthbound one, but to be honest i find it rather hilarious, i mean, ¿i played this game when i was 11 year old and didn't even suspect all the fucked up in the ending?, it's quite interesting tough. ¿do you know other urban legends, and, did you had a friend or met someone who "played" polybius?

 Re: Gamer urban legends
I love how people develop theories about stuff that is COMPLETELY FUCKING RANDOM in most games.

Bayonetta is a powerful, good role model.

 Re: Gamer urban legends
Now i also remember the minus world (i think you can seach it like that on wiki or google), in the NES version of Mario Bros. (i don't know if emulators will do any good) you make some sort of Trick/Glicht Thing in level 2 (around the area of the warp tunnels) you know you did it right if there are no numbers on the tubes, as far as i know, this is not an easter egg or anything, the creators didn't even knew it existed, some sort of totally random world with the game raw data, like an acid trip, some hackers even put a flag in the level to advance towards infinity, i've had never seen it in person tough, only youtube.

 Re: Gamer urban legends
That was an entertaining read, I didn't know about any of these.
I remember reading all about Pokegods as a kid and having a whole printed website on 20 pages with information about them. None of them seemed to work though.

If you play Sonic too fast, you'll break it.
It's true. That's why Sonic has a speed limit.

 Re: Gamer urban legends
Creepy 1. Have all 150 pokemon (or 151) 2. Have a golem on lv 100 that knows strength, dig, Seismic toss, Fissure ALL IN THAT ORDER!!! 3. Go to the S.S. Anne and surf behind it to the truck. 4. use golem and use strength on the left side of the truck. 5. Go on the steps that were under it. 6. you'll be in the pond in Sliph Co, with lv 0 pikablus, Mewthrees, and Blastoise. Catch them and use escape rope to get out!

 Re: Gamer urban legends
I wonder if anyone's ever made a Pokemon rom hack with all these terrible legends/pokegods? In fact. I'm gonna hit submit, then start googling.
