I'm still feeling anxious..

Give it some more time pojolicious, I think by the time you have 100, 200 posts you will have at least less of an anxiety.
Especially on this forum, For me now, posting on this forum actually relieves some of my anxiety.

That's alot of posts.. But I will do my best! I actually feel relieved every after post I make here.. Well.. Just a little really..

Used to have this problem very bad. I was changing nicks and places on a regular basis, because I almost immediately got embarrassed of everything I said and did. At some point I didn't post anywhere anymore, just wrote to notepad if I had anything in mind to say but never posted.
Not that bad anymore, though I still spend a lot time writing posts.

It is still a very big problem and I get easily paranoid after posting something on the internet. Even though I feel kind of relieved in the first place. Every time I give a sign of life I´m ashamed of it. But I need to try it more often because otherwise the anxiety will grow much bigger.

I feel very anxious about posting most of the time because I feel like my posts don't contribute anything to the thread and make me sound stupid.
Also my grammar sucks.

Could it be because 90% of the content isn't relevant to you?

Most threads are not in my field of interest so I simply skim through pages of threads until i find something worth posting on, regardless of how stupid my response is!

Sometimes.. I'm afraid of someone saying something nasty in response.
But I was more anxious during my first 50 posts.

I'm more comfortable posting in a forum with spam-bots around. I feel less stupid.

I worry that people that people might get the wrong impression about me. I don't know what the right impression looks like so it all seems wrong. I worry that people don't understand what I'm saying. I worry that people do understand what I'm saying.

I'm just as anxious about posting as I am about talking in real life. I often type a reply and end up thinking it's not interesting and/or doesn't contribute to the thread at all, so I don't post it. I usually also check my grammar and spelling many times. I'm trying to get over this already, though.
