It depends on the topic and the person that writes it honestly. I'm always impressed when I see a huge long paragraph or two, like wow, they took time out of their day to type all that, I should read it.

I don't read threads about reading long posts since I'd rather spend my time reading long posts.

I usually can't care less what someone has to say, unless they interest me.

Yes.
I skim the really long ones, but I won't move onto the next one until I understand what the post was about.

Yes. Its not like I have anything else better to do. Besides, if someone takes the time to spill their guts out into a post, the least you could do is read it all. You never know, you might learn something. Or gain a new insight into something that you want to understand. If you Blow past a post simply because it is too long your're missing the point of being on a forum like this.

Most of the time not... sometimes I manage to read a long post if I feel that it touches me a lot. Usually it feels enough work to eye the active topics list and see first posts of a few interesting threads. I would read more if there would be energy.

Depends on the mood i'm in (like if i feel to hang around on HC for a while), the nature of the thread, and less of all who wrote it, sometimes i do, sometimes not, but if i think it is really important to understand that person or the thread i always do.

You mean the post or the person?

Rarely. If the topic is exceedingly interesting to me I'll muster the strength and power through those long posts you guys create.

Since I'm at times guilty of creating such lettery monstrosities myself it would be quite hypocritical to ignore what others got to say.
Apart from that, nongboo stated what is also my opinion regarding the matter maybe in a even better way than I would've been capable of.

It all depends how I feel. Reading a lot makes me nauseous. Also the topic, If I can relate (or somehow apart of the conversation) then I will.
I skim a lot.. to get a gist of it. I go back and finish it if it's good.

I myself leave big spaces in between sentences, not even full paragraphs since I don't type that much.
It makes it easier for myself to read posts like that.. so I've adapted to always do the same.
