My avatar is from the anime Bleach. The girls name is Nel, and is every bit as cute as she looks, and stronger than she looks as well. She is actually an adult who got turned into a girl- watch Bleach to really understand- and is a part of a group of "Hollows" that devoured many souls in order in gain tremendous strength. Her rank is 3 out of hundreds; the top 10 are known as the Espada, the elites, but all of them as a whole are known as the Arrancar. She is actually a good person though, despite the Hollow thing.

My is from Welcome to the NHK, which is about a guy whose a hikikomori. Since this is a forum for reclusive people I thought I would have a avatar of a hikikomori.

I chose mine because it made me laugh pretty hard when I saw it.

haha Nels bankai sucks balls , i mean the minotaur just looks horrendous. Anyways, my avatar is also bleach related, basically i got ichigos face and photoshopped it to look like me.

Arrancars do not have a Bankai. They have resurreccions. But yeah, all the Arrancar releases pretty much suck. I was talking more about her when she was a kid. Mostly, she's just cute.

I cropped my avatar with photoshop from my favourite painting: The garden of earthly delights by Hieronymus Bosch (you can take a look at the painting here: http://www.computus.org/journal/?p=1178)
Google earth recently digitalized all the paintings from Bosch at the Prado Museum (google claims they are the biggest images of the world), and so I searched "Prado museum" in google earth, and started zooming on the painting until I found something that matched my personality.

My avatar is the character Akari from the anime Aria. ^^ I really like her, but I'll probably change it again sometime.

Mine is from a video to the vocaloid song "Dancing Samurai".

I chose mine because I love turtles. It's just a drawing I found online.

mine is a painting my son did in his pre school... I like it because it looks like a Rorschach image (Rorschach is my favorite of the Watchmen) but it is also some bright colors. Also, it's one of his first pieces of self expression so I'm pretty proud of it, too.
