Re: Discuss your avatar It's from a comic by Jacques Tardi, called Le démon des glaces. It draws heavily from Jules Verne's Antarctic Mystery (It's called Le Sphinx des glaces in french, hence the name of the comic), but it is very unique and quite it's own.

He is also the narrator of the Japanese version of the Winning Eleven Konami game. And I love to listen his RSS broadcasts: Football Fanatic (about the J-League), She said, He said (A radio program for the Japanese to learn English) and Global Frontline (some interesting news and interviews).
