27 here. I'm at that age where it's entirely too easy to feel old-age creeping up on you. Shitsux.

Sounds like 30-year crisis. I'm 26 and I started fearing aging a few years ago, but lately my fear of growing old stopped.

I had my quarter-life crisis a few years ago. I don't need another breakdown =3 Luckily I've been able to push it to the back of my mind most days.

i'm 27, but i'm not too worried about getting older. i view it as going up the floors on a tall building. the higher you go, the better you are able to view what is really going on around you, like climbing out of a fog. the higher in floors (age) you get, the easier it is to leave all that ground level noise and foggy uncertain feelings behind. if the view is nice on floor 27, imagine how spectacular the view will be on floor 50 and on.

That's a good way to view things I wish that I could think of it that way.

you can. just try to find one good thing about any situation, even if it's a horrible situation. and even if it's not good or helpful to you, it might help someone else. make it a habit. eventually it will come naturally. you may not be cheerful about any given situation, but it makes it easier to bear, and get on with life.

I am recently-turned 24. For a good while, I was thinking a lot about getting older.. As in, 'Wow, I'm already (age). I feel like I've so much to do and have wasted so much time sitting here!" When I think about it a different way, however, I realize that during my younger years where I didn't do much of anything outside of my room, I didn't have a clue as to what I wanted to experience, so it wasn't a loss. Plus.. I feel healthy in mind, body, and soul. I take care of myself. I don't really view myself as a certain age.. I will most likely always be a teenager trapped in a (age)-year-old's body. It was a huge relief when I realized that it doesn't matter how old I am when I accomplish my goals so long as I always strive to get there!

Relatively new for me - a combination of social anxiety and agoraphobia. Not exactly a chosen lifestyle, either.
