I typed a big long list, but it got baleeted.

I am a young chinese girl, 17 come october 10th. I'm wildly unpredictable irl, and have a hard time letting people get to know me or feel an intimate closeness with people. I'm easily tired by hanging out with various people, and if someone wants to approach me it has to come off as serious at first, and then the man should back off and let me reciprocate the love in my own way, because love is a hard emotion for me to feel. I greatly enjoy anime and manga and video games, but more as a habit. My obsession is writing, I hope I can one day write my novel and get published and live on that.

With this and some of your other posts, Soulless it has piqued my interest.
Since I am an old dude I'd never disrespect you by even trying to approach you.
Still , in my younger and less haded days.....maybe I would have said hello,

Age doesn't matter to me. I'm pretty separated from reality to begin with; why would some aspect of reality like age actually bother me? So long as you aren't risking kissing the reaper I don't care.

Lolz.... As far as age goes i'm not that old, lolz. .. well I do not look that old anyway..... Gah.. my mom is like 55 and when we are seen together they think she is my younger girlfriend.... and she's not the short skirt high heel wearing young.... more like the sheryl crow type.

Pukukukuku, people mistake me to be a younger sister to my mother.

HINT: My Mom and I have at least a 30 year gap.

I deceive everyone, I destroy everything
And the place where light used to shine now remains
Pulled away from my heart, here no longer
Yet still I stay captive to my avarice chains

Aha! I knew it.... there's only one possible explanation for this.... Soulless and her mom must actually be Youkai! 30 years is nothing when you're hundreds of years old, huh? ;p

I actually have my photo as my avatar and my age, gender and location filled out in my forum profile.

I don't think the premise of meeting another hikikomori to date is a good one. Ultimately you need to interact with other people to obtain a means of living and social support. Two hikis, especially the closer they are to full refusal of work and school, will just drag each other down into isolation. I thought I meet three hikis in real life, but I realized on further reflection I had meet four, most before I even knew there was such a term. The first hiki I met was this elderly lady that lived behind our house in Uniondale(Nassau County in Long Island), NY. I remember mostly that she had alot of cats. Eventually my grandmother came to feel sorry for her after my grandpa died and offered her food on special occasions and especially holidays. Most often she would send me or me and my bro to deliver it. I remember that when she opened the door you could see her whole place would stink of cat piss and shit. It was unbearable to even wait in front of her door, wafts of foul odor would punch you in the face. I didn't realize there was a term for this phenomenon, but she was obviously a cat hoarder. Probably she substituted her lack of human contact and that void in her life with a number of cats above her ability to properly care for. Or maybe from what I have seen on some Animal Planet reality show about animal hoarders, her actual hording repulsed everyone she knew away from her. Who knows? I was too young to contemplate matters so deeply and too cowardly to ask. I wrote about the 3 other hiki I knew in the last post of this thread.

Who knows, maybe many of us will end up similar to this elderly lady if we don't shape up. Being isolated when you are young is a choice, when you are elderly like her, it becomes more of a purgatory. If you search out other hiki to perpetuate your comfort zone instead of interacting with those immediately around you, it can perhaps leave you ending up as old, shriveled and extremely isolated. Not to mention that all the hiki I have known tend to be quite self-centered or have other serious character flaws.

I'm a lazy and highly nerdy jew, but If I won't attempt I might ex post facto regret it and blame myself.
If there are any females at the ages of 17-24 who are interested in talking to me, I'm available for PM.

I fully intend to never have any more than 3 cats. Because too many more is cruel.

i don't see how having 72 cats is being alone. unless they're dead too.

You know, in most peoples minds animals do not count. They are kind of like crutches or canes or wheel chairs. Yes they aid in mobility, but the person is not walking under their own power.
