Re: Couple of Paintings I did:
Wow! Those were astonishing! I absolutely loved the nauseating colors you used. The phlegm-like greenness of the sky and the sterile orange of the ground were perfect in your bottom piece. I also thought the subject of that painting was amazingly executed: instead of a fully-constituted human subject, you've got a portrait of an amorphous and aburd mass of flesh, tooth, and nail. I was really impressed by the way you were able to make your subject express a kind of primal aggression through the teeth and the prominent nail; again, the hues were amazing: the obscenely raw hues of pink are very effective. It's as though you've painted a portrait of the Freudian id, the savage and sensual chaos that is -- according to classical psychoanlaysis -- the foundation of all human consciousness. In any case, both paintings have a marvelously primordial quality to them. In short, they're beautiful. I'm astonished at how many really gifted people there are on this website!

Those are great! Not the kind of art I normally like, but you have great talent! Have you ever considered selling any of your work? I'm sure you could make a decent amount of money doing it. Just like Saigyo, I love the skies in both paintings, bet especially in the second one.

Re: Couple of Paintings I did:
I employ a very automatic process when I paint, absolutely no pre-planning; so the resulting images very much are straight from my subconscious (like walking around with your genitals out, practically).
I hope to start selling soon (somehow), it's all I can do; before this year I hadn't picked up a brush since college. I can never make myself do anything unless I have to for some reason (like not wanting to end up out on the street, for example).

I also paint, in oils, only use lead whites, etc. I loved the paintings and Saigyo's feedback. So much better than anything you'd receive over at wetcanvas... I'm not ready to post anything though, so congratulations because they're pretty unique.

I'm sorry. By better I meant "more helpful". I am half asleep. If you visit wetcanvas I'm sure you understood what I meant.
