 Re: Discuss your user-name
When I was a more innocent youth I had to create a name for an online game I wanted to play, I ended up creating Shadewell thinking it was a good fantasy name. Hardly anyone else uses the name anywhere else on the internet so I've adopted it as my pseudonym. I like the name my brother came up with at the time more, he came up with Relmont, I wouldn't use it myself but think it's a good fantasy sounding internet handle.

 Re: Discuss your user-name
My nickname jezabel is actually a constant mild irritation to me. I've used a different nickname on the Internet for ages, but I wouldn't use it here for several reasons.
The character Jezabel as it has been described in various sources is very ambivalent. She is commonly regarded negatively. I have a different opinion about her, especially ever since I've watched an interpretation of her by Bette Davis. Instead of being selfish and cruel, I regard her as independent and determined. She is being misunderstood and distrusted for her strong will and for not being like some people expect a woman to be like. She does not subordinate, conforming is alien to her. She endures societal pressure with a playful arrogance which is probably her only fault, but maybe her only way to break free from the absurdity of societal norms. She is being punished for that arrogance terribly.

 Re: Discuss your user-name
drone - the genre of music, I like drone/doom music, bands such as Earth/SunnO))) and within - well its kind of a mash up of the song 'drown within' by Ulcerate, just exchanging drown for drone. Earth have a dvd called 'within the drone' which I recently found out about and is a coincidence as I'd registered here with this name before I was aware of this.

Rak Shine - taken from the anime Utawaruremono, it was the name of a murderer for whom the protagonist was mistaken for. Even though he is the only human alive and he wears a very unique mask. Something about the name clicked, although I am but one of many rakshines in anime forums. ;_;

My username actually means two things: Parasitic: In my house, I'm the parasite. Paralytic: The capital Z looks like the capital L. Besides the fact that I'm too lazy like I'm paralyzed, I have this condition called Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis. I got hospitalized a couple of times because I can't move due to lack in potassium. It's a genetic disorder. There's no telling when this paralysis might strike me again. The k just makes it unique.

 Re: Discuss your user-name
Gavrilo Princip used to run the local Fish and Chip shop. One day he said to me "There's no such thing as the truth, the trick is to find a lie that makes you happy and convince yourself that it's the truth. Do you want salt and vinegar on it?" That's not true but who cares.

 Re: Discuss your user-name
Gavrilo Princip was a lion tamer in a traveling circus. One day he said to me "MY FACE, IT'S EATING MY BEAUTIFUL FACE. HELP ME!" How we laughed. The lion ate his head but Gavrilo wasn't one to quit. He replaced his head with a lettuce, his eyes were cherry tomatoes, his nose was a carrot, his ears were mushrooms, his smile was sweetcorn. Some time after this he said to me "MY ARM, IT'S EATING MY BEAUTIFUL ARM. HELP ME!" It was funny at the time but I suppose you had to be there. He replaced his arm with a cucumber and used asparagus for fingers. This became a regular occurrence. Every now and then the lion would eat a part of him and he would replace it with vegetables. In the end, his whole body was completely made of vegetables. His blood was olive oil. He could even magic up some mayonnaise but you wouldn't want to eat that. It was at this point that he realised that he fucking hated lions and quit his job. This was ironic since lions don't eat vegetables and he could have gone on to be a great lion tamer. Anyway, he moved to Hollywood and became Matt Damon's stunt double and lived happily ever after. True story.
