 zombie, vampire or werewolf?
If you had to be one of these, which would you choose? Zombie, vampire or werewolf? The thought of sucking blood is so disgusting that I couldn't choose vampire. In addition they live eternal (in theory that is; we all know how effective a stake is) and who wants to live for centuries after seeing their loved ones die? i'm not eager to be a rotten corpse either, nor eat brains, so I'll skip zombie as well. Of these I'll have to choose werewolf. Though they eat raw meat (yikes), that's still a lot more natural for a mammal than sucking blood. In addition, they are only werewolves at full moon (in most stories anyway), so I wouldn't be changed all the time. What's more, the thought of turning into a wolf is awesome!

Werewolf definitely. Preferably the kind that can control their transformation and turn into an anthropomorphic wolf as well as a regular wolf.

Vampire, of course. The only thing that keeps me from being a vampire now is that sometimes I'm forced into the daylight & I'd hate to drink blood.

I chose vampire because I don't want to be hairy And I'm a bit of a sexual sadist and I know how sexual vampires can be.

I chose Werewolf, because I don't want to sparkle xD
Just kidding, but when I think about it, vampires never sleep so they would never dream, they live for eternity and would get bored and watch loved ones die etc and you have to drink peoples blood which doesn't sound too thrilling. As for zombies, who wants to be a zombie? And rot away and have bits of your limbs falling off? No thanks lol

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
Vampire, but ofc a Castlevania-type Vampire who could turn into mist, phase through objects and wield dark sorcery. A sort of vampiric black mage. I wouldn't be into any of that romantic seductive stuff either and I wouldn't ever grant a fucking groupie wannabe-vampire woman "her wish" of being bitten. All my victims would be adolescent boys. If you were a vampire, drinking blood would probably be as natural as eating from a corpse is to a vulture. It wouldn't feel more disgusting than food for humans.

Me too. I honestly just hate the sun and feel like it's attacking me. No blood craving yet though I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
I'd either second Soleiyu and go Castlevania-style, or be a werewolf. I'd live normally during the day and go into the woods at night to transform. Then, once it was dark enough, I'd come out and slaughter a bunch of innocents. I'd make sure to kill only in places that didn't have silver bullets, too haha.

Btw, Walter Bernhard. Perfect vampire art style imo. True to the dark sorcery vampire archetype.

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
I'd rather be the reanimated dead and the disgust of the other two. With long congealed blood and being of carrion meat beset with putrefaction both would give me a wide berth and spit in the wake of my shuffling gait. I would eat and eat and know no other contentment and my constant companions would be the maligned insects, the maggot, the fly and the blue bottle. Doubtful would I last very long, but having died once already I couldn't very well ask for anymore.

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
I'd have to agree with werewolf- a lycan, since you wouldn't be one all the time. I think vampires hold a certain mystique, but I don't think it'd be good over time, particularly the needing to kill constantly to live. And zombies are slow and dumb, neither living nor dead. Fun to kill on video games, but it would suck to be one.

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
Vampire, as has been stated before, castlevania style. However, as much as I wouldn't like to see my loved ones die after they aged... I think it would be better than werewolf, because soon enough if I lost my mind during the full moon I simply would get caught.

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
Vampire would be like two birds in one stone for me, now that I think about it. Being non-human. Living in solitude for centuries. Killing filthy humans for enjoyment. Having my own secret hideout where I could rest. Watching the world from afar, as an eternal outsider but with the vampiric abilities allowing me to interfere with the world of humans in a way which is impossible today if I don't want to end up in jail.
I would actually enjoy being a vampire. Not just as a cool romantic thing, but I would enjoy it from an antisocial and sociopathic perspective as well. Crushing people who opposed me without the need for any real argument, my powers would speak for themselves. Destroying any smartass that came my way. Interfering with world politics as a silent assassin working only for the purpose of chaos. Lending my powers to certain radical ideological movements or dictatorships for the same reason etc, but ultimately leading a mostly solitary existence with only my own madness as the one true guiding force.
If there only was some possibility of this ever being possible. Sigh...

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
If it helps, I always thought of zombies are FRICKIN AWESOME. Especially after L4D and showing zombies with proper intelligence. And then of course, the fanfics which gave life to zombies.

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
Yeah, that'd be great! Uh-oh! That's the first sign of being a fledgling... Just ask Zoey Redbird. ("House of night".) I'm sorry my thread hurt the feelings of our resident zombie. Brave Little Zombie, zoms are cool, dude, I just don't wanna be one! Hmm I meant to include the classic horror monsters here, but I forgot mummies and Frankenstein. Would they mean a difference to anyone? Being a mummy seem like a pretty slow life, I mean just lying there in a sarcophagus for millennia would have to be dreadfully boring! On the other hand, the powers of the mummy from the movie trilogy might make it worth it. I'd definitely not wanna be Frankenstein. Made up by body parts, slow and stitched with a bolt through my neck. Nah, there are better ways to spend your monsterhood! I hope there aren't any more classics I've forgotten.

Aw. Feel free to blame Hollywood for that stereotype.

Mujer loba. Werewolf. It sounds cooler in Spanish.
Humans co-evolved with wolves and a lot of our non-primate behavior seems to have been derived from wolves. To be human is to be partly wolf. I've always thought it would be cool to be a werewolf, preferably one of the ones who take part-human-part-wolf form.

I hope you all know that in a Castlevania universe, my long lost distance video game cousin would kick your asses. OT: I wouldn't mind being a werewolf. I'm hairy enough anyways.

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
I picked vampire, even though I'm sure people would say I look more like the type that would be a werewolf. Maybe I could be a hybrid. Not a lame looking one like in underworld, though. A cool looking one.

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
It's a bit disheartening that only two people picked the walking dead. What do zombies have going for them if not numbers? .. Think of how lovely it would be to indulge in a bit of cannibalism. Limiting yourself to auto-cannibalism is a little boring.

 Re: zombie, vampire or werewolf?
As much as I don't like vampires cause the recent movies ruined it for me, I had to choose that. Zombies were the original slaves of vampires if you go further into deep reading and such. And on top of that, they have an all out disadvantage, getting the head blown off bit, but they are study in numbers. Werewolves on the other hand, I can't really say much about them, but I wouldn't want to be one, getting hunted down seems a bit stressful.
