Yeah, it looks nice Lisa.

:unsure I'm still completely incapable of making a decision. I keep going back and forth, one minute I think, well it only takes 10 minutes to get my haircut across the road and that I shouldn't rock the boat, but then I think it'd be nice to not have to rely on my dad if I want to get my hair cut. Fuck, I'm so useless.

wow lisa, you are quite skilled with the scissors.. great looking cut. it doesn't look amateur at all, not sure why you think that! love the wallpaper too, very psychedelic :whoa

i'm scared of cutting my own hair but i do a little snipping here and there and it usually works out. i really need to even everything up a little bit but i'm afraid of it just becoming one bushy mass at the ends since my hair is quite thick. with that said i rarely go get my hair cut by a professional either... they seem to have a hard time giving me the cut i want. maybe my hair is just too fussy, i don't know. it's been over a year since my last little trim.

I still cut my own hair from time to time
(it's quite long and no one can cut a good lolita bang and side layers anymore...)
I like to go to the hair stylist, but it's expensive and somehow I feel like she's cutting it a way too short...
But I still go for dying my hair ^^'

I started cutting my own hair a long time ago when I didn't want to go out any more for that. It's pretty easy to get a basic job done of it. Nowadays my sister has been cutting it. If she wasn't cutting it I think I'd want to cut it again myself.

i've had my father do it a few times because its cheaper and I'm not a fan of going for a cut necessarily.

about cutting my own hair, i just noticed recently that i did a really really bad job at the back lol
apparently i had cut several of them near the root, so now they're shorter than the rest of my hair and they stand straight up too.
whooops~ hahahahahaha but it's all good cause i flatten them with my hoodie on my way to school.
let's hope i dont make the same mistake next week lol

my mum used to cut it but her arthritis has gotten worse, so i do it myself now.
It looks alright though. My hairs usualy pretty messy so even if its uneven you wouldn't be able to tell.

I used to do it when I had a fringe. It turned out alright considering....although results were a bit variable.

It bothered me too much though and I couldn't be arsed with it, so I just grew my fringe out :)

I cut my own hair once.. back in 2008 I completely shaved my head bald for the fun of it. Haven't gotten a haircut since..
My hair is really thick so having it long bothers me so 97% I have it in a pony.

But for like a year now been thinking that I should just pull my hair back, snip of the pony part.. and see what's left.
:whoa

Post Re: Cutting your own hair
i have cut my hair by myself twice. The first time I shaved my head and gave myself a Mohawk. It look awful :facepalm. The second time I used an electric razor I bought to use on my beard, this time the Mohawk looked better, but my mom whom I believe simply did not like the style, kept telling me it looked uneven in certain places. Now I want a Mohawk again but I will go to my brother's hair dresser, since I am too embarrassed to ask for it at my regular barber shop. It is a really old school kind of barber shop, and my barber john is also getting too old to cut hair. I have been going to his place since I was ten years old, so I do feel bad.

Anyway I really lack the skill to cut my own hair and give it a cool style on my own. :(

I don't cut them at all lol. I've always wanted a really long hair and now they are down to my waist :crazy Well, I still cut my bangs but that's all. I remember how I used to go to the hairdresser a few years ago.. brrr.. too much stress for me.

Yeap, i used to go to a barber shop until i was 18(?) or close to it. Way too stressful, they knew my family, i would wait in a all male environment for long periods of time, aqward conversations, and ultimately lectures about life and my family. "What the fuck? No more!"

So long hair and/or cut it myself, those were the options.

One central mirror, two side smaller mirrors, a hair brush, a comb, and a scissor. Add water, half an hour to an hour and im done.

Its actually easy, and i got better with time. Now i can pretty much get the look i want, but my main concern is not looking weird.

Do to lack of time a few years back i went to a shopping mall's barber, paid a lot to look like a dick head. Back to -> "What the fuck? No more!"

Just another thing for people to think im a freak. Some don't even believe or can't grasp the concept of how i can see the back of my head and trim it straight. lol

Edit: i also use an electrical trimmer for the neck and sideburn area.

Also i just cut my hair when its out of my control, too swirly, too hot, or bouncing on my eyes. :unsure
