Odd question?....

I'm typing a letter to my dad & his wife. They're both old, 68 & 69 & I'm not sure what type of font to use. Does anyone know what type I should use that would be easiest for them to see? Right now I'm using one called "Miriam Fixed" which is almost identical to Courier New.

I said it was an odd question lol
Here's a sample. I'm using a blue that's supposed to mimic blue ink. Would it be better if I just used black, instead?

This font and its color look fine.

(Why don't you use the standard fonts like Arial, Tahoma, Times or Verdana? They all should be easy to read, too.)

Thanks I just don't like standard fonts lol, but I would use them if they were easier to read than this. I'd actually love to use Papyrus lol, because it's my favorite, but I know they'd have a hard time reading that one lol

Times New Roman is one of the most legible text fonts to use in print, while Georgia is a better alternative to Times when it comes to on-screen text.

Thanks I might just go ahead & use Times then. I know it should at least be familiar to them because it's everywhere lol.
