I refreshed the page and everything changed! Has hikiculture undergone a make over? I love the new look if it has. At least leave this one as an option if you aren't satisfied, oh tinkerer!

I just changed the theme at SV and decided to do the same here.

I wanted to use a light-colored theme by Vjacheslav Trushkin, the guy who designed the last theme we had up. His themes are pretty similar to each other, so I figured you guys would easily be accustomed to the change, so I went through with changing it.

I really like the look of this theme, so I'll stick with it.

When photos that are wider than 800 pixels are posted, it stretches out for the image, so anything larger than that can still be viewed without being cut off.

I like that it doesn't stretch without images, actually. It made my sentences seem a little feeble when I could fit 100 words on a line. I was just taken aback by the sudden difference was all, I think.

It will take some time to get accustomed to the new style. I also like that long texts are easier to read due to narrower column width.

It looks fine. It's kinda unaccustomed now but I'll sure get used to it and forget how the old version looked like.

I like the colour theme but imo the narrowness looks weird. About 15% thicker would be perfect for me.

Yeah, too narrow imo. 15% wider isn't a bad idea.

It looks narrow. Unless you have banners or graphics on the side it looks very, VERY plain on the sides, making it look narrow. If you made it wider or put stuff on the sides...?

When I just came to the site & noticed the change, I was shocked at first. It will be very hard to get used to. It's very narrow. I'm going to be even more self-conscious than usual about the length of my posts now, though, because just two sentences takes up two lines on the screen. There's also so much blank space on the sides.

There doesn't need to be extra width. What benefit would the extra width bring? If the width wouldn't automatically re-size itself for large images it would be a problem, but seeing that it does, there's no problem.

If I can find a way to make it slightly wider, I will.

I like it better than the old one. It looks like HC just leveled up into a slicker design.

Sorry, I sound like a dick. It's just waaaay to narrow. Even if the forum doesn't need to be wide, looking at it on my 21.5" 1920x1080 widescreen monitor is driving me nuts. Also I hate change. I would like for the space on the side to be filled with pictures of cute girls or something, though.

Oh, and I hate not being able to log in at the top corner. That's probably what annoys me most.

My reaction is that it looks like one of those old web pages from before the days of widescreen. Over 50% of my screen is empty grayness.

I was a bit shocked when I first saw the new style, but I like it. I thought the old style was fine, but this is just as good.

I like it, especially the narrowness (but that probaby also is because the resolution of my monitor isn't that high). Forum posts are much easier for me to read this way.
I do miss a bit of colour though, I really liked the blue from the old theme.
