 Sasuke (Ninja Warrior)
Anybody else like this show? They just showed 25 on G4. I didn't watch all of it but recorded it all. Yuuji and Nagano went out on the first stage and nobody passed the third. I've been trying to figure out when 26 will air in Japan. Anybody know?

I loved it, Nagano ftw. I wouldn't mind giving the first stage ago if I could fund the trip to Japan and enter XD

Sasuke 26 airs in Japan on January 2 according to wikipedia. Not sure of the time but I hope I'm home to watch it.

 Re: Sasuke (Ninja Warrior)
i love the girl with the pink hair. she won a few kunoichi's. i don't remember her name. i could do some of the girls' rounds i reckon except perhaps the walking on rolling objects and dominoes. my balance isn't amazing. and they have quite tight time limits too. some of the men's rounds look real tough though, like the one's which require to hold a ledge by your fingertips and shuffle along. I don't have the strength or endurance for that.
edit: oh her name is Ayako Miyake

 Re: Sasuke (Ninja Warrior)
Yeah, I use to love watching that show on G4. Nagano was the man (I always crack up when they show that footage of him doing that handstand on his ship- it's like his trademark- like Batman looking down on Gotham, at the edge of a building). I haven't seen the more recent ones, but I hear that they're doing an American Ninja Warrior (if it didn't already come on). Yeah, with all Americans (they have to Americanize everything). I don't know if it'll retain the same amount of challenge to its courses or the same amount of quirkiness within its competitors like the Japanese counterpart, but it's worth mentioning, if your interested.

 Re: Sasuke (Ninja Warrior)
The American version is okay but it just doesn't compare to the original. And the new way they do Kunoichi is terrible. But the best thing about it is that most of the contestants are hot.

 Re: Sasuke (Ninja Warrior)
Well, you can at least see MXC, which pretty much dubbed it over and made it more appealing to American audiences. Although if you love the original, then you might not enjoy MXC so much.

 Re: Sasuke (Ninja Warrior)
I love all of the shows mentioned so far. Sazuke (ninja warrior), Takeshi's Castle (mxc), and Unbeatable Banzuke are all endlessly entertaining. You know what else I love to watch is the Japanese prank shows on youtube. My favorite is the trapdoor sled at the top of the ski resort that launches unsuspecting victoms down the slope. One of the funniest things I've ever seen.

 Re: Sasuke (Ninja Warrior)
Does anyone know of an online store where I can buy pickled sakura and sakura leaves? I am trying to make sakura mochi, and can find all needed ingredients except pickled sakura leaves. I would also like to find pickled sakura flowers.
