I'm so desperate...

I want to make an appointment with a chiropodist because I want to get rid of my ingrown nails. I can't stand them anymore.

But I'm so afraid even of asking for an available appointment. I have been working on the email for hours but I always end up closing the window because I just can't click on "Send".

I read about treatment of ingrown nails but... I'm scared. I hate doctors, I hate any kind of painful treatments. But I have to go through this, I can't stand these pains anymore.

I don't know what to do... *sigh*


Sorry... I just need a place to cry out about this.

How advanced is their ingrowth? They might still be able to save them. (I've had a severely ingrown nail on my right big toe for three years now, but since it doesn't hurt, I've just been living with it, keeping it clean, etc.. No way they could save it, but that doesn't concern me too much. If it ever starts hurting I'll go to a podiatrist about it).

The left one doesn't hurt much and looks fine but the right one doesn't look very well now because I have a bad habit to cut the nail deeper and deeper whenever I'm in a bad mood.

My mom is not here anymore so I went outside to go shopping and I was wearing my shoes for the first time after a long time. But it hurt with every step because of the pressure pains. That's why I finally decided to do something about it.

*sigh*

I also finally sent the email. Now I'm nervous... I hate waiting. I hope I will get an appointment next week or so...
I hate getting touched by doctors during a treatment. But it's only the foot, so I think I could manage it.
