Well so far I've only had a low paying stressy job :P

I'd take more stress for more money as long as it's something I can somehow get into. Just in hope it stresses me out enough to forget what a worthless failure I am and takes away the time I'd otherwise just use to make things even worse. I'd rather burn out trying that than bore myself to death.

Being a freelancer working from home does not at all mean it has to be any less stressy than a "normal" job - in lot of cases it can be a ton more stressfull. Of course it depends on what and especially who you work with, but it can be hell :x

I would choose the stress-free one.

Money are supposed to improve the quality of life, if I have to be miserable to earn them it's pointless. But even if I wanted to choose the other one, I know I wouldn't last more than a few months doing something I don't like, so...

I'd pick low-pay / stress-free. Stress kills.

If I would be forced to search a job ... and I am, because of my dad ... I would choose the low to average-paying stress-free job. :neutral
