Zelda a link to the past,
and ofcourse, Starcraft, which i spent 5 years of my life on competitively. I have many memories on that game, many happy, sad, inspiring, frustrating, life changing. Getting good at that game was a big part that shaped me into who i am today :O

I TOTALLY AGREE!!!! there is a point when the game is not just a game, it becomes a part of you and the people around you, i remember getting very competitive at marvel vs capcom games in the arcades, and u just start to make friends (and enemies  ) and the same happend to me in diablo I and II, counter strike, and later on Lineage II (i meet mi wife playing lineage II) ... games changes people's life drastically. BTW, my favourite game as kid was Diablo I (much has changed since you lived here, my friend... all was peaceful until the dark riders came and destroyed our village.. many were cut down where they stood, and those who took up arms were slain or dragged away to become slaves... or worse) it's not just a revolutionary and perfect game, it also has the best voice acting in history!

Re: What was your favourite game as a kid? It depends, when I was really young I usually enjoyed playing mario, double dragon and the pokemon games for gameboy.
After that my favorites would have to be conkers bad fur day and ocarina of time.

Re: What was your favourite game as a kid?  My childhood, right there. I also loved SNES and NES games. Like that duck hunt game with that annoying dog. Or Ninja Turtles on SNES. Some other SNES titles I enjoyed: Chrono Trigger, A Link to the Past, WWF: Battle Royal, etc. I'm an oldies fan. I really got into RPGs, especially after playing Lunar Silver Story. Final Fantasy was another winner in my books. Now I'm just ranting
