 Re: Accents/Dialects
Yes please in Japanese. I love hearing different japanese dialects. Where are you from? Kanto/Chubu/Kansai? You could just write what you are saying in English in your post.... Speaking English is ok too! I might put one up if i feel like it... Ive no idea what to read out though,.,.

You're so sweet. Don't be shy, we'd love to hear your voice. I can only recognise Kansai-ben if you use hen instead of masen, or the word akan though. You could just read something if you aren't sure what to say like everyone else has done. Or just say whatever is on your mind, it doesn't matter.

 Re: Accents/Dialects
I like Reanimator's voice and accent too. I thought NW England means something like this: I wanted to read the same text in Finnish and English but only book I have in both languages is Romeo and Juliet and no way I'm reading Shakespeare aloud in English. If I get back my English version of The Lord of the Rings from my sister I have something more modern. Or I could just find something online.

 Re: Accents/Dialects
FONEternal, I just want to say that I do a lot of the same things that you do with how you talk. But I live in Southern Alberta, and I like to think that it's basically the same in terms of phrases as in the Southern United States. Just a question though. Do you call Potatoe Wedges = "Jojos"? Because if you do, we should have some of those sometime. And, I might make a video too.

I don't think I have any particular accent; but I can mimic an Israeli accent, alongside a pretty large variety of accents from around the world.

 Re: Accents/Dialects
I know what you mean. That slight southern-like accent can actually be heard in all of the prarie provinces (Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba), but it's definitely the strongest in Alberta. However, it can be quite strong in rural areas in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. When I went to Alberta I noticed that people would speak with a slight southern-like accent. It seems like people in the USA tend to speak with a "drawl" in states where the population is mostly conservative; I think the same applies to Canada. Alberta is a very conservative province, even a lot more than Manitoba.

 Re: Accents/Dialects
Here's my accent video, with a special guest appearance by my cat.
I have a weird, monotonous robot voice, I know.

 Re: Accents/Dialects
When you said, this is annoying, you meant the cat didn't you?
I don't think anybody would have noticed your disfluencies if you hadn't mentioned them. I didn't even know that was a word until I heard you say it. I didn't find your voice monotonous. I thought it was very clear and well enunciated. Precise, like a robot. (I didn't mean that)
