 So... about WoW bots?
So, in case the title didn't give it away. I play WoW... frequently. But I'd like to make things faster and I'm wondering if anyone here knows anything about the bots you can get? First off, are there any that are "safe" to obtain? Like... am I going to get virus hell on my computer if I get one. Also, is there one that doesn't get me caught/banned? That'd be nice since I like to play and do not feel like starting a second account for any reason.
I know, botting isn't cool, but I don't really feel like spending as much time in the game as I do for the same amount of results. It's annoying really. I'd like to be able to get my toons all up to raiding level so I can chill more with my guild.
Thanks in advance for any info!

No bots are going to be 100% safe... if you decide to use one you'll have to risk getting banned.

Bots are not very common in WoW because they will usually get you banned. Blizzard doesn't like lazy fucks that cheat their way through the game.

Yeah, I realize it's a lame way to go about things but like I said, it's frustrating to be at end game stuff (where all the fun really is) and have to spend an hour on each character to do daily quests just to keep myself above my repair costs. *shrug* I was thinking it might not be such a bad idea to make a trial account and use the bot on it to see if it gets banned or not. lol

By the way, when they ban you it's just you login right? not your IP or anything crazy like that?

 Re: So... about WoW bots?
they can ban your IP. but it dosent happen alot.
and if it is gold u want i can tell u it's easy to get gold. i made 7000g in 16 hours.
just learn how to play the AH and u wont even need a proffesion. ( deppending on your realm. empty and recommended realms have higher Ah prices. full and locked realms have cheap prices.)
just look for level regs for like leather working, alchemy and Jc.
one way is to search google for leather working/Jc/alchemy /tailoring 1-450 look what is needed to leavel then browse AH to see whats in stock and then choose what to farm. if ther is for example no sungrass on ah and have herbalism farm lots of sungrass and put it for like 50g stack or even more.

 Re: So... about WoW bots?
Well, at this point really, I JUST lost my job and I've got some cushion money to sit on for a couple months and then some, but I figure if I can do stuff to level accounts and figure out how to sell them and the gold and shit, I'd be golden to pay my bills at minimum with bots. I mean, I live with my parents so my bills aren't that high. I was reading about MMOMimic, but I saw there was a horribly mixed review of it, some sites were praising it, and others were like, "Worst bot evar!" So.. I don't know.. It claims to follow routes you set so, you just run around an area at first then tell it to do that over and over, it'll target enemies and stuff for you blah blah like a bot should, but it follows a path you set. So I figure it would probably look most human since I like to take stupid routes just because I can. I also read that it didn't inject code to get caught. It would be fairly awesome if it worked out, even if it was just supplemental income, or even just paid for my regular account (I plan on doing this for a second account so I don't get shafted out of my real account... lol)

Whilst this won't necessarily address your question about bots, it might perhaps give you an insight into the methods employed by those that take this kind of endeavour fairly seriously. If nothing else, it makes for an interesting read. http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/d2rfj/iama_wow_bot_runner_i_have_over_100_bots_running/

 Re: So... about WoW bots?
My sentiments exactly. I've often pondered the feasibility of something like this, but always wind up dismissing it on logistical (and mildly ethical) grounds. Regardless, I still can't help but have a smattering of admiration for people that invest this level of time, money and technical knowledge into cultivating such an undertaking. There's something about the enterprising and entrepreneurial aspect that keeps me from wholly condemning it.

Don't bot. Hardcore gamers don't need bots as they are already robotic
