I agree with your way of thinking. As long as you give potentially offensive threads titles indicative of the content, people are free to choose not to read them.

So you posted it on the Adult board? Good call. I generally recommend posting anything potentially "kinky" or "gross" there. That way, members who don't even want to see thread titles hinting at things that would bother them can choose not to look at that board, while enjoying the rest of the site.


Although I didn't see the thread, it doesn't sound like it broke any rules. I mean, the rules basically boil down to "no porn", "no spam" (defined as advertising without contributing), and "treat other people respectfully" (as in no personal attacks).

However, sometimes threads get deleted because people other than the OP cause them to devolve into a flame war; that could be what happened. Maybe some of the responses were personal attacks directed at you or other people who posted in the thread. Sometimes if a thread really goes to shit (uh, no pun intended), even if the OP has nothing to do with it, someone just deletes the whole thing because that takes a lot less effort than deleting individual posts. Plus, deleting individual posts can make a thread confusing to read afterwards. Sometimes the idea behind deleting a thread is actually to protect the OP from nasty personal attacks that were posted in response, directed at them.

Just my general impressions (2 cents). I've never deleted any posts or threads other than my own.

If something starts to look flamey, I put a flame icon next to it. That's my style.

Why have some of my posts automatically been resized to a tiny font the last few days?

Once, a few days ago, I was responding to someone, I think I had quoted them, & after I posted it & viewed it, I noticed that my font was all this size.

Then not too long ago, in my '"in demand" items' thread. I quoted someone & after I viewed it my font underneath their quote was this size. again. So I had to edit it & set my font to the 150 size, just so it would be able to be seen properly, both times it happened.


Does anyone know what can be causing this?

Probably just a strange bug.
