 Re: Favorite Final Fantasy?
Hm, it's hard to pick one. I have many favorites but okay... I would go with FF9 - it's the first FF I ever played with and it has a great storyline and also nice side-quests.

 Re: Favorite Final Fantasy?
I'm not generally a fan of the series and I've only played several of them. Counting the spin-offs like Tactics Advanced, Ring of Fates, Dissidia, etc.
Out of the all of them that I've played, I'd say X was my favorite. Back then, I thought the graphics looked so cool. I'd play for days just trying to get the bonus weapons and complete the monster hunting courses. Storyline was alright as well. Dunno why Tidus was hated so much, but I understood him pretty well since I felt like I could relate to him in some ways.
Loved the soundtrack.

 Re: Favorite Final Fantasy?
I've analyzed my hatred for Tidus in great depth over the years, and it comes down to two main things: his voice acting, and the fact that he's a glorified jock. Blitzball? Seriously, Blitzball? Most annoying obligatory mini-game in any FF ever. He's a huge ditz, too.
I find it funny that a lot of people are picking their favorite because it was the first one they played - X was the first one I ever played and it's probably my least favorite now.

Final Fantasy X.
It's the only one I've played all the way through other than 13, and 1 and 2 on the GBA. I've played halfway through FF7, but drifted off and stopped playing. And my game of FF8 was glitched so I couldn't go any further than a certain point on the second disc.

Six. You know, the one with Locke? Good times.

 Re: Favorite Final Fantasy?
Started playing FFV on an emulator today, so far I like it. If I had to pick one thing that Final Fantasy has done well, it's their music score. All of the Final Fantasy games(FF5-13) that I've played has had some pretty bad ass music. Especially some of the remixes that have come out from them.
Take this as an example

Another reason l remain a fan to the FF franchise. Their music is phenomenal. l heart Uematsu-san. He's such a lovely person.

They called it III everywhere in North America. Not sure about anywhere outside of North America.

 Re: Favorite Final Fantasy?
I used to call it three too, but when three came out on the DS, I started calling it six again.

IV is my favoritest <3
I liked XII, but now, when I think about how long it took me to finish, I get mad. LOL and I would never play it again because of that >__>;;

 Re: Favorite Final Fantasy?
i haven't played one, two, five or six. i've played three and four on the DS and both were a treat. i don't know if i'll play them again or not since the level grinding was insane on both. seven, eight and nine were all enjoyable but i haven't replayed any of them. i've played ten twice, both times going through the omega ruins and getting Yojimbo. i suppose this is my favorite since i've actually replayed it. i payed twelve and really couldn't give a damn about the characters or the story. there wasn't a point in character development since everyone could unlock and do everything so everyone became disposable. thirteen was a major disappointment and waste of my time and money.
