Anyone else like this?

I'm rewatching it for the first time, I origianlly watched it when it reran on FX like five years ago, and I forgot how much I loved this. It just gives me such warm, fuzzy feelings.

It makes me sad they're going to ruin it with a fucking movie that doesn't involve Joss Whedon, any of the canon, or any of the characters that made it so great. :confused

BUFFY! :inlove :inlove :inlove :inlove
What kind of movie are you talking about? They're not making a Buffy movie or what? Oh please not... :no

*sigh*
Just thinking about Buffy makes me watching all episodes on DVD again. Personally I liked season 1-3 the best. The following ones were okay with some great episodes. I just don't like Riley and Dawn. And I'm still angry that they let Tara die. Why? :cry2 And what's with those SITs in season 7? Annoying as hell.

They're making a new Buffy movie?? I didn't know that.

I absolutely LOVED the show, but I haven't seen it in years. I was so sad when it went off the air :'(.

They apparently are going to make a new movie, without Whedon, with the director of the original Buffy movie that sucked. They want to make it "darker" and more of a horror movie, with a new slayer, which is really stupid. How is there going to be one Slayer when the series ended with hundreds of them? And the worst part - Meagan Fox is supposedly going to be the slayer.

It's just a terrible idea. I would be okay if they made a movie with the original cast and Joss Whedon, I'd probably be even happy, but not this shit. It makes me want to cry almost.

And yeah, they really, REALLY shouldn't have killed Tara! Oh man, I was so upset. She was so cute. Although...evil Willow was pretty cool. I liked the Willow/Tara seasons the best, mostly because of that.

And Lyrical, if you want to watch it again it's pretty readily available streaming on a bunch of sites.

l rewatched the series in winter. lt's freakin' amazing!!!! l love the plot, the story, the characters, l <3 buffy!!! :inlove :inlove :inlove

Tara dying surprised me just 'cause it wasn't a super natural related death. l mean, it kind of sucks the tragedy could have been prevented.

l love Megan Fox and all, but if she ruins buffy the vampire slayer for me, l'll freakin' kill her.

l agree with Mikan. Seasons 1 to 3 are the best. 4 was a real let down. lt got better afterwards, but they moved the plot to areas l thought were a little slow.

Any Spike fans?

Uhm... here! :bye

Though I prefer more the bad Spike in season 2. He also saved season 4 and 5 for me. It was cute how he was falling in love with Buffy. :inlove

Also for the movie... I decided to google around but all I could find were only old rumors from last year. :dunno

I think it's a really bad idea to make another movie version of it. It's going to be terrible, especially since I can't stand Meagan Fox & she is going to be playing Buffy. I think they need to just leave certain things alone & not remake them.

Thanks for the link, but I don't like watching stuff online, on my computer (except for YouTube videos, etc.). I could have gotten it anytime at the library because they always have dvd's of the seasons there, I just haven't gotten them.

I also love Spike. My favorite characters were probably Giles, Willow, & Spike.

Never "watched" Buffy, but from the time I was 11 until 16 or so, I'd always see it on TV. Never once did I pay close attention to it.

I thought "Why does rezu watch this shit?" but was surprised to see that it has a rating of 8.5 on IMDB, and a 9.0 rating on TV.com. Strange - I always thought it was mostly watched by people who wanted to see the hot-chick cast. Turns out it's not so shitty. I knew it was nothing like the original Buffy movie, but I thought that, in terms of quality, it wasn't better. Guess I was wrong.

The original Buffy movie is unfortunately the only Buffy-related thing I've seen. I used to watch the movie all the time as my sister was obsessed with it. To say she was obsessed with it is almost an understatement. When she liked movies, she'd pretty much memorize every line of dialogue.

On IMDB, Batman Begins has a high rating and made the list of greatest movies of all time.

I never really thought the cast was that hot. I honestly always thought it would be stupid so I never bothered to watch it until someone told me there were lesbians, and then I ended up watching it and liking it. It wasn't what I expected. It's a nice mixture of campy fun with a bit of drama and some hilarious special effects. There's one demon in the second season that looks just like Frankenberry.

As for the movie, it's on IMDB and a bunch of other movie sites for 2012. It hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but I'm pretty convinced they're going to make it. Vampires are the cat's ass right now, even if some of the Buffy fanbase gets pissed off and refuses to go, they'll still cash in on all the Twilight fangirls.

Buffy was a great show, especially the first seasons.

I never liked Dawn. "She" was a key, for crying out loud! I never thought Dawn, Riley, the Initiative or Tara were good additions to the show. Unlike Oz and Anya.

The movie (1992) was lousy, the series was good..

Him and Giles were my favorite characters. Man, it's been so friggin long since watching "Buffy". I can't remember it much if you asked me about it. I don't think I ever watched all the seasons, either.
