 Stoner Films?
I really like movies that portray cannibis in a comic/exalted way!
My favourite one is "Grandma's Boy"
A close second is Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle!
I think Pineapple Express is a bit overrated, but it was still pretty good.

Harold and Kumar is all kinds of awesome I have Pineapple Express, but have yet to see it... Ever seen Super High Me? It's basically Super Size Me, but with weed. It's really great

 Re: Stoner Films?
i hated this movie, although i was high watching it (would have been even worse if i'd have been sober). it wasn't even close of being an informative and/or entertaining documentary and the "comedian" was unfunny as fuck. pretty boring stuff. i only remeber that i enjoyed watching "how high" and "half baked" when i was 14 years old. now i avoid any kind of stoner-movie since they tend to be unfunny.

@vsnare - I am the same about avoiding stoner themed movies these days. Funny as hell when I was a kid getting stoned, not so much these days.
If anything I love watching movies I theme classics when I'm stoned to enjoy them in a whole new way. Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Robocop, the list goes on and on.

 Re: Stoner Films?
yes, watching childhood-classics while being high is awesome. love the fuzzy nostalgia-feeling i get from doing so.but i mostly enjoy watching simple horror/trash/b-movies/splatter/pink-movies and animu while being stoned. makes me dig deeper into teh zone.

 Re: Stoner Films?
Grandma's Boy & Pineapple Express are my favorites. Humboldt County is good too on the right occasion. I've seen a few others like Half-Baked & How High, but they were so awful and not memorable at all.

 Re: Stoner Films?
I got through the first 15 minutes of Super High Me, but and then had to shut it down. The beginning was just not compelling for me at all, and I so lost interest. But now that you've given it a rave review, I'm thinking I should give it another try! Also, I was high when I watched it, so maybe I just wasn't in the mood for a documentary style movie in the first place? Who knows. This is so true! Stoner movies and movies that are ideal to watch while you're lifted are totaaallly different. I really like watching Titanic high for some reason. I think I already regret saying that. I'm a huge fan of movies about recreational drug use in general. Candy, Requiem for a Dream, Blow and The Basketball Diaries are like, in a whole different category from these typical stoner movies though. I love them sooo much. Note: I hope someone can correct my typo in the first post; I spelt cannabis wrong. D:

 Re: Stoner Films?
I wouldn't say a rave review, but i definitely enjoyed it. At first i was unsure too, but i gradually got more and more into it. It's worth a watch at the very least

 Re: Stoner Films?
Yeah, you're right, you didn't really give a rave review at all. I think I was focusing on the emoticon a little more than I should have. Haha, yeah, hopefully I get around to watching it.

 Re: Stoner Films?
I'm suprised no one mentioned Dazed & Confused yet, that movie is pretty awesome. Another favourite of mine is Detroit Rock City, I never thought much of Kiss before watching that film.
Bill & Ted is great to watch when you are stoned too, not strictly a stoner movie though, I guess.

The first time I saw Fight Club and the Usual Suspects, I was stoned. I was pretty blown away at the time. Think I wore out the 'Back' button on my remote for those two.

 Re: Stoner Films?
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs l kid you not, this is a trippy movie to watch when stoned. Everything is so colourful and theatrical and it'll definitely get your munchies rolling. Total awesomeness.

Haha... that does look rather trippy. It seems like the type of movie my sister would want to watch while stoned.

 Re: Stoner Films?
I find that David Lynch movies are good while stoned, especially Eraserhead. In my opinion, Eraserhead almost should be watched while stoned. I got stoned with my sister and her friend and put Eraserhead on for them - they loved it. I think everyone loves it while high.
I don't like David Lynch much anymore, but his films can be quite good after smoking a bowl. I may have to check out more of his films though. The only films I've seen by him are Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, and The Elephant Man. I may eventually check out Twin Peaks and some of his newer movies.
