I can beat the original Diablo in about 6 to 8 hours.

I can pass most cars in Initial D without hitting them. It really irks me when people just speed past and hit the vehicle of an opponent.

I'm pretty good at Sonic.

I'm pretty good at Castlevania.

I got the second highest score on a Galaga cabinet today. I think it's all that touhou. I also beat up to Stage 5 on Lunatic in Imperishable Night but I got gameover after that because I reached 5:00.

Nice. :cool

That reminds me -- I got the best race time on a Cruis'n USA cabinet at Chuck E. Cheese about 12 years ago. It was only my second time playing it too. :laugh

I just beat Touhou 5: Mystic Square and got good ending number 2 on normal mode (no continues). Now on to the extra stage. :cool

Edit: This is my 1337 post. :cool

I drove all eight hours+ of Desert Bus. Granted, I did use saves since it was a practice run, but my bro and I
are gonna do a full run of it (no save states -- if you get towed back to start, you start over) as an LP.

I jackass around games too much to really accomplish anything. I spent well over 100 hours on LoZ:TP alone,
mostly just wandering aimlessly around Lake Hylia.

- beaten Super Mario Brothers 3 in under 14 minutes
- over 700 hours on Burnout Paradise with 100% everything in single player and online
- about 300 straight wins on my old War Craft II account (no disconnects)
- can play Crysis on max setting, 8x antialiasing, 1680x1050 with over 40 fps

.......I guess these are the only note worthy accomplishments I can think of

^yea... I'm the same way, especially in free-roam games, I end up exploring the world... then I look back on all those hours and realize I've literally done nothing to move the game along.

Heh, just like real life.

Honestly, if all those annoying humans would just get lost, I think it would be fun to wander around the world like that irl.

I always take way longer to finish a game than I need to. I spent about 20 hours playing blitzball in Final Fantasy X before I realized there was no point. :thumbsdown
I took about 220 hours to finish Suikoden V the first time, but heard people saying it's about 60 hours long at most... :unsure

I finally managed to beat Embodiment of Scarlet Devil on hard after all these months of practice. Most of my accomplishments in this thread are Touhou related. :closedeyes Now onto insane and Perfect Cherry Blossom. :grin

Recently beat Final Fantasy XIII and Silent Hill: Homecoming 100% including all achievements.
Working on Resident Evil 5 next.

Notice how most of my accomplishments are just completion ones? That's because I have no skill, just an extraordinary amount of time and a completionist complex.

I agree. Beating Etrian Odyssey is an achievement in it's own right. Beating the Metroidvania games at Lvl 1 must have been pretty nerve racking (at least it would be for me). I'm sure it would take a lot of patience.

The trick to a lvl 1 run on hard is to NEVER GET HIT. Then it's cake.

I did notice that you have a lot of 100% completed games as far as achievement points go. :)

Haha, yeah, I love trying to get the most out of games. I don't really care about gamer score, but I'm addicted to getting all of those damn achievements. It's way too much fun for me. Even the grinding ones in FFXIII and Just Cause 2. It's somewhat embarrassing though because it's like wearing a badge of how much free time I have on my hands.

I don't have any real achievements I think. I know I got 100% in all levels and all bonus material in Yoshi's Island, and I could also rerun Super Castlevania IV in the clear game higher difficulty mode without taking a single hit. Neither of those are "difficult" games though. When it comes to super hard shooters or fighting games I have no chance.

Oh yeah, that's right. I also finished Castlevania Order of Ecclesia getting all the medals, but then I was toast in the uber hard lvl1 mode after that... If I was after prestige alone I would probably force myself through it, but since it removes 95% of the joy of the game I can't be bothered with it.

I used to be really obsessive about trying to get max gamer points out of each game, but I quickly realised that it was ruining the fun of playing video games for me, so I've become a lot more chilled out about it now. As far as showing how much free time you have on your hands, I always wondered about all those people you see on the leaderboards especially on games where they rank the amount of kills you have, how do those guys have so much free time, seriously they must be spending 12 hours + a day playing the game. I can only imagine that those leaderboards must be filled with recluses like us. :laugh

My biggest video game accomplishment was when I stopped spending the majority of my time playing them.

I'm currently trying to get all the achievements in FFXIII. I might not bother with the "maxed levels" and "all items" ones though, the only FF I've ever cared about enough to 100% complete was VIII. Congrats on that though, it must have been tedious as hell. :laugh

If you're planning on getting all the achievements in RE5, I suggest you don't download the Versus mode -- those achievements are a huge pain.

I'm still in the process of getting all 240 stars in Mario Galaxy 2. I don't devote much time to games these days. Most all of my free time goes to music.

Well maybe I should have said N64, I tried to point out that I didn't play it on an emulator.
