 Re: Independent Gaming
It's definitely been worth it so far. As it always has been since I first played it years ago. With achievements making it all the more worth to get the optional items and bosses. Even though I haven't actually gotten to the extra content yet besides unlocking Curly's story mode.
I was also a little surprised to see you had it too, Aconcit. Good to know I'm not the only person I know playing it on Steam.

 Re: Independent Gaming
Breath of Death VII and Cthuhlu Saves the World are worth it alone. This reminds me, I still have to beat CStW.

So true. All old school rpg fans, or Lovecraft fans should play CStW. Anyways there's a new bundle from a different organization called The Indie Gala. All games are redeemable on Steam. The games included are: Zombie Shooter 2 is a unique blend of Action and RPG! Choose a character to the liking, get experience to develop skills, earn money and spend it at weapons, medications and useful devices. All of this will be used against thousands of zombies! inMomentum takes a brave approach to platform gaming! is all about creativity and freedom of movement! To succeed, players need to manage movement to progress through the games many levels, find secret items, and complete a variety of gameplay challenges! Hacker Evolution: Duality is the hacking simulation game! You have to hack into computers using various tools, from a basic firewall cracker, to sophisticated voice print authentication systems. Steal money to finance your objectives, buy hardware upgrades or bribe off other hackers that are present in the game! Saira teleported herself to Mars, but when she reached the planet all other humans in the galaxy had mysteriously disappeared. Now, how does something like that happen? Saira is a two dimensional puzzle platformer that will conquer your heart! Your Doodles Are Bugged! is a game with a unique art style and unique game play. In each level you play through a new doodle to rescue the bugs that have been hexed into it. And if you buy it with in the first two days: Zombie Shooter 1 Where is the line between life and death? How far can human science go trying to understand this? Take part in the great battle to rescue humanity and find out what's happening! Personally I've been wanting to play Saira for awhile because I really enjoyed other games by Nicklas Nygren such as Knytt.

 Re: Independent Gaming
So many bundles, not enough time. I have about 25+ games I still haven't even touched . Gemini Rue (the old school adventure game) is currently what I'm playing, and it is pretty awesome. Looking forward to a few of these games from Indie Gala.

I was going to ask you what you thought of Gemini Rue. I started playing it a few days ago and I think it's warming up to be my favorite game this year. And no kidding about the bundles, but I can't complain about awesome deals. xD

I'm not too far into it yet, but I can see why it would be your GOTY. It's fantastic. Look who I met while exploring. I about pooped. Easter eggs are so awesome.

 Re: Independent Gaming
Another bundle is going live next week and it's called the LittleBigBunch. Right now the link is empty but it will be up on December 14th to January 2nd. The contents include: Frozen Synapse! Explodemon! Serious Sam Double D! Oddworld Munch's Oddysee New Star Soccer 5 So there's another cool bundle. I think I'll get it for Explodemon which looks like my kind of game.

 Re: Independent Gaming
Dino D-day looks cool, I'm not sure about Eets, but what makes it for me is the Blackwell Triology, and after watching the video, Blue Oil. Blue Oil looks trippy.

The Oil Blue, I mean. It looks like the Cross Country Canada of oil digging.

 Re: Independent Gaming
I'm feeling the same way, except probably more excited for Eets than you. This bundle looks solid, really.

 Re: Independent Gaming
I'm probably going to have to play Eets to get it. I tried Oil Blue for a bit but a bug caused everything to crash so I stopped playing. It wasn't as exciting as I though it was though.

 Re: Independent Gaming
Okay, geez, another bundle. Presenting The Humble Indie Bundle 4. What an amazing bundle. Super Meat Boy, Jamestown (a good entry level bullet hell shmup), and Cavestory+ makes this perfect. I recommend paying at least $5 to get Cave Story+

I have everything but Shank and Gratious Spacebattles though, so I have no idea if I'm going to get it.

 Re: Independent Gaming
Better late than never, it's freakin' addictive.
"One more go.....FUCK....okay one more" is the best sentence I can use to describe it.
Oh, search for the level "Sweater" because that's going to be a holiday hunt achievement one of these days.
I bought Dungeons of Dredmor and really like it. It's pretty much a standard Rouge-like without the complicated interface. And it's got some funny descriptions of items too.

 Re: Independent Gaming
Today on reddit I came across a program called Tiggit. It's basically a hub like Steam and Desura which has over 300 freeware games. I like the idea of having these all in one interface rather than having a folder which in my case becomes unorganized fast. I had some troubles installing it the first time but one of the comments had a simple fix. Here's a picture of what it looks like:
