Re: Favorite AMVs (anime music videos)
I'm not sure about fan created AMVs but there's a lot of orginal ops I enjoy. I love the various themes from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Higurashi

Re: Favorite AMVs (anime music videos)
Oh yea... I'm glad you mentioned the whole fan based aspect of the videos I posted. It's important for me to make it clear that I don't take credit for any of these Youtuber's AMVs.
To see the creator of a particular video right-click it, and select 'Watch On Youtube'
Fans spend a lot of time making these, so if you really like one you should post a comment on the User's page.

Re: Favorite AMVs (anime music videos)
heres a few of my favorites from my youtube favorites.
I love this one because the effects are great, the deep bassline and the tv like flickering effects go well together, as if the music is affecting the video almost. Good bass and turned up loud'ish recommended for best viewing.
another good one, the editing is really well done, content/lyric relation is pretty clever if you look closely.
one of my all time favorites, pretty stylish.

Re: Favorite AMVs (anime music videos)
@ XBlacky I agree... the editing and effects sync well with the music in the Bleach vid. I think I still like the Champloo vid the best, just because it has the "cool" factor Good choices man! ...as far as video editing goes, this video is sure to impress, it was put together by Reversed Studios... it's won the Best Editing Award in a bunch of AMV comps.

Re: Favorite AMVs (anime music videos)
Here's an AMV I made some months back for Eureka 7. Took me only a couple hours so it's not magnificent by any means, but I'll let you guys be the judge.
I'm also working on one for Welcome to the NHK, but I actually want it to be really good so I'm taking my time with it.
I don't really spend time watching AMVs, so I don't really have a personal favorite, but here's one for Soul Eater I watched recently that was pretty cool. I've never watched Soul Eater, but this video sways me some to give it a look.

Re: Favorite AMVs (anime music videos)
@ shiroC great job on your AMV man... I thought Killing Time was such a cool song for those scenes!!!
Also, Soul Eater is a pretty good series... worth checking out for sure, but they do tend to drag out a lot of the episodes,
so it got a little boring for me at times. (I'm not talking to the extent that DBZ drug out the Frieza Saga... where Goku was
in one spot charging the same attack, while literally nothing happened for an ungodly amount of episodes)...
it was just a little filler here and there.

Re: Favorite AMVs (anime music videos)
I don't really watch AMV's.. I don't even really like regular music videos.. but anyway.. here's my favorite. It's actually my 2nd favorite.. but my favorite was on Youtube for 4 years.. but a few weeks ago was taken down, since the owner's account got suspended. ( fucking music copyrights.... )

Re: Favorite AMVs (anime music videos)
Dunno about favourite since I don't usually watch these things. But I like the tune, and I like Evangelion, and I think the 2 go together pretty well.
