I meant that person would exist in dreams as well as existing in the real world. I think she meant dreaming of the person from reality simultaneously... which also works, I guess.

Yeah, that's about it. If I could find a girl like that living in Michigan I would be happy. There's never really any asians (at least none that I've seen) in Michigan who have a cute appeal to them. Most asians I've seen are just not very attractive, or are more sexy than cute.

Really? I guess I just don't see many in my area. I guess it doesn't help that I don't get out much . I do notice a lot of Asians like to hang out at malls. I see a lot of them by those Chinese food places.

Eating/going out together is just a thing. I feel like, as an Asian, it's a bit like the feeling of being hunted! Asian movements and habits carefully documented for the best hunting grounds!

I've never had a "dream guy" I don't think. I've always just wanted someone who would get my weirdness (am I even that weird? I dunno - my perceived weirdness) and who's cool. What's cool? Well, I know it when I see it.

I'm not gay, but I will say a lot of asian guys are attractive too. It's just you don't really see the type of asians you want to see. Like the celebrity type. For me I like the cute asians in idol groups and with the girls they usually like the music stars too and the actors. Those guys who have a girlish charm to them. You don't see many like that in America though.

I disagree. There are plenty of attractive Americans that are just as good looking as celebrities. That doesn't apply to Asians in my area though. Everyone has a type and my particular type is non existent where I live.

I think most people need to lower their standards. We have to ask what we're bringing to the table if we're expecting our partners to have the looks of a celebrity.

I take back what I said before. I'm hypersensitive when it comes to criticism, so more often then not I end up making myself look stupid when I get mad. I don't get out enough to really see if there's anybody I like, so I can't really make a statement like that. In my case though I just haven't found that one special girl I'm looking for. I guess I just haven't looked hard enough. It's not easy when your a shut in though. I told myself I would get out once the weather starts warming up again, so who knows. I may have some luck.

If you're including me, I don't mean to criticize you, it's just something I've noticed with a lot of people.
